When I wasn’t looking, Miffyhoi Rosca went in and dumped a ton of news in the store. I suppose it’s because she’s in Hong Kong and I’m exactly 12 hours opposite that we often are just ships passing in the night that I missed it.

with the greatest of ease – particularly when using the Aerial Assault poses from Long Awkward Pose. While visiting Festivale yesterday, I was entranced by Pixel Dust – a store in a big circus tent – complete with trapeze swings. I remembered a dress Miffy from Zenith gave me a month ago or so and thought it might make the perfect aerialist dress.
Miffy of Zenith and I have been friends since my first month in Second Life and have spent many hours sitting on a pig talking about this that and the other thing. I remember watching her make her first clothes and marveling at her sureness and speed in moving those prims around. She often sends me her newest creation and every once in a while I will blog one that is less neko that most of her clothes. Now is when I admit that she once asked me why I dressed like an old lady. Such is the difference between 20 and 33. However, we are both a year older now and that year makes a bigger difference for her…which really shows in the increasing feminity and maturity of her designs. This last dress she did is just stunning and for the first time, I am doing a blog post of an outfit in all its colors: silver, gold, pink, blue and black.

Boom has yet another enticing and lovely outfit – a dress this time – called Celebration. However, please don’t store this in your Christmas Clothing and Jewelry box to molder away until next year. It’s a lovely dress that can be worn year round. Here you see it with the delicate lace jacket from Zenith – a tintable froth of a jacket.
When fellow photographer GM Nikolaidis, also of Spork, sent me a Christmas present that included a snow angel animation, I could not wait to use it. I im’ed my friend hatchy and she joined me.
It doesn’t snow in Hong Kong (rarely, Google says 4 days of snow in a decade) so this was hatchy’s first time making snow angels. And she got to enjoy it without the stray bits of snow seeping under her collar and melting and trickling down her back. Speaking of Hong Kong, my outfit is all made by another friend from Hong Kong, Miffyhoi Rosca.
My friend Miffy (Miffyhoi Rosca) has been making clothes a little over a year now. I have spent hours sitting on her Electro-Kitty pig watching while she concocts one of those outrageous belts with filled with different kinds of candy or cigarettes or looped together a prim skirt and admired her sure and confident whipping of prims into shape. Her style is youthful and fun and just keeps getting better. Once or twice a week she drops her newest and latest on me to check out. Lately, though, her style is branching out into more colors and I am finding it much more appealing for me personally. Take this lovely red dress.

I’ve been seeing ads for different pieces at REALE come across the feeds for a while, but my machine keeps acting up lately when I try to TP so I’ve been going less far off places. The sun has left us and probably will not return until next June. Oh, sure we might get a glimpse for a minute here and there and maybe even a teasing hour of clear skies, but winter has settled in with the clouds and the rain and the dour weather. Thankfully, we can teleport to other places in a heartbeat, to sunny Cuba or Costa Rica, to Singapore or India or Africa and all the sunny, happy climes. But for today, I will dress for the gloomy November skies.
