Fairies should not be counted out for Halloween – although the grimmer spirits of witches and goblins and trolls and vampires will cover the earth, don’t discount those mischievious and impish fairies. Sure, they dress a little lightly for the snowy October weather in Minnesota and Alaska, but they might be nice and cosy in sunnyy Australia and Paraguay.
“I feel it in my fingers, I feel it in my toes.” The water that is. Yes, I went wading in the water at Nameless and am Wet Wet Wet.
JoJorunoo Runo has a few new releases at RunoRuno and passed me some review copies. This one captivated me instantly with it oh-so-sexy form-fitting silk textures. In fact, it is so form-fitting it makes me think of the way silk clings when wet and I had to try it out at Nameless.

When you go to a place called the Surrealist Dance Hall, you need to expect oddities. And that there were including a shadow that followed me everywhere, but looked like a man. I had originally gone there when everything was black and white and immediately decided to wear this black and white dress that reminds me of Joan Miró, but when I returned, the place was absolute vibrating with color.
I had one priority during last night’s pajama party/sneak peek at the Hair Expo. Come what may, I was going to find the incredible Kaori hair from Exile and snatch it up. And I did and thanks to that, you see it here in all its wild disarray. I am in love.
So, the Hair Expo? Laggy of course, but hey, swimming and shopping at the same time must do wonders of aerobic goodness for your pixel heart. Overwhelming – so much hair and only one head. But we all know what it really is. It’s the Fashionista’s Big Rock Candy Mountain!
But that’s not all today, Stiletto Moody has new shoes though she’s only teasing up by letting us see them. They don’t go on sale until 6PM tonight. Still, a girls gotta look. Continue reading
I am having one of those days (leaving the ATM card in the machine, walking away from the coffee maker with the pot while the coffee pours through the filter, biting into a sandwich at one end while the contents slide safely out the other) so these photos and style notes can stand on their own. It suddenly occurred to me that because the only skins of Hatchy’s I have worn were the Demon and the Neko skin that you might think she doesn’t make everyday skins. I decided I would wear her Mimi skin to show you. There’s a reason I don’t wear Hatchy’s skins very often. She made my shape and it’s somewhat similar to her own. “Talk to the shoes!” That’s my reply to anyone questioning my sanity when i confess a little tiredness today from staying up late for the Stiletto Moody new release. Seriously, when you look at these shoes, can you even doubt it?
This photo was shot in the Virtual Reality Room – a wonderful little box with photo panoramas that create the sense of really being there. You can reach MDR’s VRR with any of the teleports in the main studio. Here I am standing over a little cloud cover. I didn’t play around with the backdrops because there was a couple using it at the time and I could tell they had spent forever editing their pose or their shapes because their pose was such a perfect fit. They were shooting themselves on the moon – and I bet the photo will be wonderful. This bit was on the opposite side of the VRR, so a few quick snaps and I was out of there. Continue reading
