I went to the opening of Armoire and was astonished by the imaginative and artful dioramas created by Saigye of Balderdash and the other tableux from Kesseret Steeplechase, Caliah Lyon, Violet Voltaire and Candy Cerveaux. Live models wore jewelry in the maze and in the dioramas and overall, it was just so incredibly well done I could have spent much more time there. I wore this dress from Sn@tch and pull up socks and wore that without jewelry or shoes, only my skin with hair from YourSkin that you have seen a few times already this week – and enjoyed a completely lag free romp with under 100 ARC. But when I left, I wanted to up the voltage as you shall see. Incidentally, I have no idea why Ivey Deschanel named this outfit Damaged Goods, because I think it’s perfect.

I stopped at Bliss Couture last weekend and found this gorgeous gown that I have been too busy to have occasion to wear this week. This week has been one of those too-busy-to-breathe weeks and has left me no time for dancing. Oh well, there’s always the weekend and now I am ready.

Hot Hair

When I saw Thalia Jie on Saturday, she was wearing the cutest hairstyle that I absolutely coveted. However, it was blonde so I didn’t just snatch it off her head and instead went to 0 Style as soon as my pixel feet could carry me. Now the style is named Prissy, but hey, designers can’t be perfect. You and I know there’s nothing the least bit prissy about the wild abandon, swing and movement in this hair. However, when someone creates hair this beuatiful, we can forgive a misleading name.

okay, so I CAN mod my hair, sort of…

I was able to mod my hair last night and move the single offending hair prim out of my cheek. YAY! It took 4 minutes and clicking the move Y- button twenty-two times. NOT SO YAY!  And that was with everything going my way.  I was lucky that i guessed y-minus right off the bat and didn’t spend any time clicking the other 5 options at all. And of course, if the prim had been behind another prim, i woul have spent 10-20 minutes moving one prim out of the way so I could click on the prim I need to move and then moving the prim in the way back to position. Actually, no I wouldn’t, I would have given up and deleted the hair.  Honestly, edit scripts are a poor substitute for being able to edit hair. It’s time-consuming and frustrating. And Damselfly is one of my favorite hair stylists, dagnabbit.But on to more cheerful things like the gorgeous dress from TOSL that I have on. Continue reading →

When I saw the new Seduction dress from Mimikri I began to drool. After mopping up, I popped over to the store and picked up the sexy Seduction in Nude.   I added a bit of contrast with tan gloves from Fleur and a stole from Skin Flicks.With the coffee lipstick on the PXL skin, I thought the palette was just about perfect.

Continuing with wonderful Hair Fair finds, today I am wearing the Codie hair style from Mirada – a new-to-me store with wonderful hair that needed no tinting. There’s a nip in the air so I put on this cuddly warm Round and Aboutton dress from Veschi.
