Another great find from the Hair Fair was this extravagantly rich Wild Orchid updo from Exile complete with assorted differently colored wild orchids in the packl. It’s the perfect hair for when you really want to dress up and wear something as rich and exciting as this dress.
and so do dragonflies.
I gave a big hello to the marvelous biker cap from Argrace and decided to dress up as a Pennzoil Princess in honor of the hat. Setting out to shoot at the Texaco station at Refuge and Prospect I was lucky enough to run into the builder himself – who kindly gave me a dragonfly. How could I not include it in my shoot…and in this case, take one picture from the dragonfly’s viewpoint.

Something Lady-Like – Of course.
I start every log in the same way, I stroll up to the third floor of my house, hop on my dressing stand and get nekkid. It is only then that I start to drop onto my floor, like a complacent teenager, anything that has been dropped into my inventory since my last log in, review items, group gifts, invitations, catalogs, presents, things I bought from Onrez or SLX etc etc etc. I throw them around the room opening them haphazardly and whoa be to me when the stuff isn’t boxed. I used to shop, with my old crew, and listen to boys endlessly fawning over them. We’d TP into a place to shop or dance, or – back in the day, gamble….and SUDDENLY boys would flock over to them babbling about how pretty they were. And not your usual “I want make sex”. Continuing with wonderful Hair Fair finds, today I am wearing the Codie hair style from Mirada – a new-to-me store with wonderful hair that needed no tinting. There’s a nip in the air so I put on this cuddly warm Round and Aboutton dress from Veschi. It’s autumnal colors put me in mind of the prairie so I headed out to The Refuge and Prospect and hopped a train. Continue reading
But I won’t be steering anything after this photo shoot. I had so much fun making this wonderful Bishwear hair swing by going back and forth on the pose pad – next-previous-next-previous- that I made myself dizzy. I have a bias for hair that moves and swings, and this Hair Fair offering called Seductress is well-named. It seduced me into playing like a six-year-old with my pose pad. And the blouse…well I had to shoot it with two different looks, it’s that good a top. Continue reading
In this photo, I am wearing Boon hair from the Hair Fair. Boon hair always looks so messy – a lovely naturally messy that I love. I also love that I don’t have to tint Boon hair…it comes right in the shade I want. Now, my gown! Oh wow!
Friday I was making the style notes and the pink tulip necklace I wore was from a shop I didn’t remember ever going to and one that was not in the directory, so I went to get the SLurl and found an amazing store with wonderful clothes…including this Belladonna dress. It moves so wonderfully, I took about a dozen snaps of it swirling around as I changed poses. Continue reading
When you go to a place called the Surrealist Dance Hall, you need to expect oddities. And that there were including a shadow that followed me everywhere, but looked like a man. I had originally gone there when everything was black and white and immediately decided to wear this black and white dress that reminds me of Joan Miró, but when I returned, the place was absolute vibrating with color.
