I am wearing a gravity-defying gown designed by Callie Cline. I love the luxurious fabric and the rich cinnamon color, but I will be the first to admit that it’s a miracle it stays up. Particularly while I am wearing the Chai Double Shot skin, you get one guess as to whether I am wearing the Cleavage or not.
So I went to Zaara’s new sim tonight, eager to see what someone with her eye for texture detail, depth and love of warm, vibrant colors would do with an entire sim to play with. Oh my! Please give her more sims to decorate. It’s beautiful and vibrant and lively and I had fun exploring… and dancing in the dance hall across from the main store. Just click on the carpet and you will be dancing as well as Salome.
I would rewrite that old, old song to say “Give me layers, lots of layers, and the ability to mod, don’t fence me in.” Take for example, this gorgeous cardigan. The wonderful Fair Isle knit and the lovely button details make me love it, but it’s a grumpy sort of love because it’s no mod. However, I did work around that and managed to make it fit me after all, but only after getting frustrated enough to close up Second Life and go chop up soup fixings into teeny tiny pieces.
As Christmas draws to a close and we head toward New Year’s, there will be a lot of holiday parties looking toward the coming year. Perhaps a traditional Black & White ball on New Year’s Eve? If so, this is a lovely dress for that, simple and seasonal, with understated elegance. It’s from Pretty Magic and is wisely sold separately from the witch hat and cape that goes with it.
LeeZu Baxter has made a gorgeous jacket that I absolutely adore even though it eats up my necklace attachment points. Actually, I totally love it so long as I look at it from the front. I like it from the back, but wish she had not put text on the back. I am not a text on my clothing sort of gal.
Some designers just pack their folders chockfull – adding clothing options right, left and center. That’s certainly the case with this outfit from CB Designs which comes with two tops, the bllack print and a teal hoodie. It also come with your choice of glitch pants or two different shorts options.
We’re taking a snow day! I just finished making a nice area for shooting snowy pictures at the new MDR Photo Studio sim and couldn’t resist putting on some snowy weather gear. I wanted people to be able to see my in all that whiteness, so a bright pink outfit seemed in order.
Okay, they are having altogether too much fun at KatatOnik this Halloween. I mean, look! Look! Candy Corn! Yes, it’s adorable, darling, cute in all the right ways. And somehow they have me wearing candy corn — which is, I believe, a blob of hard corn syrup with food coloring. Well, even though I would never eat it, it is darling to wear. This was the find on the Ghost Hunt as is this entire outfit – a completely ghost hunt styling.
Okay, so we’re not searching for the Holy Grail, but looking for ghosts under the bed and behind the curtains and everywhere but up the chimney. Well, maybe up the chimney too. The Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come. This outfit is almost all from the Ghost hunt except the dress – which came from the marvelous freebie outlet at Bastchild and Lapointe…so yes, an entirely free outfit.
The new Billow Boots from Maitreya are a delightful re-imagined reachback to the 80’s. They seemed to demand something playful and impudent to match their mood. While shooting, I kept hearing that old, old song Wild Thing, you make my heart sing. You make everything…groovy.
