Sometimes you want to dress for the upcoming Halloween holiday but still look professional. You can adopt the season’s colors and then toss on these adorable free boots from EvA.
When I sent my friend Hatchy a pair of the D’Fly Candy Corn boots – the 1L boots at XCentricity, she was thrilled and decided to become a butterfly. When I signed on the next day, she sent an IM saying “TP, TP!” I thought she was stuck in a rock, but really, she was just excited to show off her butterfly self.
Before saying a word about this luscioius dress from LaPointe, I have to spend some time drooling over the Tuli Gothic skins again. Yes, I have drooled before. Guess what, I will likely drool again. When something is so drool-worthy, you just have to go with the flow. This time I am drooling over the Vamp makeup that is completely V – pause – A – pause – M – pause – P – pause – VAMP, with luscious red lips, kohl-smeared eyes and a delicate little beauty mark highlighting one cheekbone. Yummy! I have to say, the flowy big hair from Sky Everett doesn’t hurt either.
Just as I was finishing the burlesque shoot, I got an urgent IM from a customer and really, really did not feel like doing a shoot with a fan tail. So, I changed my hair real quick and tossed on this lovely gown – over dressed a bit for the occasion, I know – and was there in less than a minute. Continue reading

It’s purely coincidence that the outfit I am proposing for Halloween fun today is completely free. This outfit is not an editorial comment on the Freebie debate. In fact, I shot the photos on the 22nd, a day before the Great Freebie Debate in which I agreed with everyone. I like freebies, I sometimes blog them. I also think that there’s a freebie glut right now. Perhaps there will be a natural market correction. I also agree some shoppers are just dang rude, but do not believe the freebies make them rude. Some people find anonymity liberating and become more creative, more open and more alive. Some find anonymity liberating and turn into creatures with the manners of a weasel, the morals of a polecat and the kindness of a badger. It’s not the freebies that make them that way; it’s their true nature. But now, back to fashion.

Kuri’s Style has many dainty and feminine dresses including a lovely 5L bargan that several other people have blogged. When I went to get that freebie, a couple other things caught my eye, including the sweet dress this top belongs too. The other outfit I had just taken off was quite similar so I wanted a different look and opted to dig an old skirt out of my closet to finish the look.
