From Burlesque to Ballroom

Just as I was finishing the burlesque shoot, I got an urgent IM from a customer and really, really did not feel like doing a shoot with a fan tail. So, I changed my hair real quick and tossed on this lovely gown – over dressed a bit for the occasion, I know – and was there in less than a minute.

The gown is from Orage Creations – and if you go, be sure to run upstairs and check out the marvelous 10 and 20 linden dresses. They are amazing. This one, though is particularly fun with the marvelously rich brocade that harkens back to the era of the Sun King as does the cut of the dress. Only the hem line is contemporary, and it makes that centuries old style look new again.

I kept the shoes and jewelry from the  other outfit, dropping the bangles and changing hair to this style from Sky Everett. All in all, less than a minute to change into something new and get to the studio.
