About Cajsa Lilliehook

Meanwhile Back at the Ranch…

While Gidge is off vacationing at the Bates Hotel, I thought I would laze about in this cute little outfit featuring a great new shirt from Ce Cubic Effect and an old skirt from our mutual friend Miffyhoi Rosca. This is the first skirt Miffy made, and she made it in red, green and brown plaids. Being an autumn-loving person, I immediately fell in love with all three. When I put on my new shirt last night, I immediately knew Miffy’s skirt would be a perfect option. Continue reading

This One's For Beanie!

Beanie Canning, the tireless blogger of Beanie Loves Japan, has steered me to more great freebies, unusual and fun sims and new designers than I can count. So, when she asked her fellow bloggers to do a post about this wonderful Japanese store she found, I had to agree. Of course, Oiran, the store is a great find, full of kimonos and yukatas from 100L and up – with lovely textures, tremendous detail and great beauty. I purchased two that I will show you after the cut. Continue reading

Colors: Kairo and Curio

Another day, another Gala skin from Curio. This one is Gleam, in the Classic skin tone. It’s a fresh, gleaming makeup with colorful lips and a lovely blush – perfect for a colorful summer outfit like ALB Dream Fashion’s Kairo.

With it I am wearing the adorable Naturalist necklace from Swallowtail and a lovely flower in my hair, also from Swallowtail. Again, you can see how the boldness of Swallowtail is powerful enough for the vibrancy of Annalee Balut’s brilliant textures. This dress has three skirt options – all very different. They are pictured after the cut.

Bird of Paradise

So, I have seriously fallen for Annalee Balut’s imaginative and lively designs and can’t wait to show you how lovely they are. Here you can see the upper half of her Anna outfit – with three options for the other half – all shown after the cut. Again, I am wearing one of Gala’s magnificent skins – Ivy this time. Like the Doily skin yesterday, this is one you want to wear the demo and zoom so you can see the  magnificent eye makeup. I am wearing Swallowtail’s wonderful Jupiter jewelry and coordinated shoes in green. The boldness of Swallowtail jewelry suits the vibrant ALB Dream Fashion designs.

How Wild Can It Get?

Wild Eyes like these these for the Classic Doily skin from Curio require an equally wild dress, and I promise you that after the cut, you will see a wild dress – a freebie that you can wear, oh… six, seven maybe more different ways. This skin is one of the outrageously gorgeous and unique skins from Curio that I fell in love with…and it’s Wild! Continue reading

Curio-sity Captured Cajsa

This is a quickie. I had another post ready to go when I forgot the store name on the skirt and in searching, discovered it was from a Business in a Box – and who can tell if it’s legitimate or not, so I threw everything out. However, I did have this cute outfit from Beauty Avatar that I wanted to highlight for its casual simplicity. I tossed it on with those elegant go-with-anything silk heels from Paper Couture and a Group Gift necklace I received from Curio today. The only thing that would make me happier with the top is if the two pieces of the top were on separate layers instead of one – because I like to play with my clothes.

Besides, what I really want you to focus on is the skin. Isn’t it lovely? Continue reading

Too Sexy For My Shirt

I have all this lovely lingerie, so how do I show it off without prancing around in my knickers?  This is a partial answer.

Whether loves going to leave me or not, my shirt looks like it’s about to. You know, there were some wonderful finds at the Lingerie Expo, but some of the most exquisite were from ALB Dream Fashion who presented lovely sets with bold prints and patterns. In this photo I am wearing ShuShu though you can only see the bra – peeking through the hanging-on-by-a-thread sheer red blouse from X2 Clothing. Continue reading

Lingerie with Seven Laces

I came to the hobby of lace-making through default. It was one of the few handcrafts my irritatingly over-skilled sister had not already tackled and conquered and wrote the book to tell the tale. I will never write any books about my own handiwork, but they are coveted as presents – especially as I can only complete a few projects a year. Still, it has created a deep love of lace and the craft of lace-making.

That is why this lovely lingerie from Carnal caught my eye immediately. The crisp contrast between the black and the white, the many layers of lace, the almost tuxedo like neatness of the lines combine to make it an attention-grabbing set of lingerie. However, since so much lingerie is difficult to wear under clothing, I can resist a lot of great lingerie. What made this irresistible was the combination of laces, almost a Whitman’s Sampler of lace. Continue reading

It's Not Sold Out In Second Life®

Some Second Life designers are real life designers whose creations take a journey from idea, to paper, to fabric to pixels, linking their First and Second Life design business. Carnal, House of Nyla and Petal Meg are a few that pop into my head without doing any research. Another, though, has been added to that list, Poison Candy, located at the Cannery Rezzable. They have irreverent, irrepressible and imaginative designs such as this charming tattoo dress, which is currently sold out in Real Life. Ah, the advantages of  Second Life!!!!
