Okay, how can you not love a store with the name Pididdle? The green dress with the clever name “Our Lady of the Moss” came from that delightfully wee store. And mossy it is, with a delicious bottom border on the skirt.
Don’t you just love serendipity? I not only love it when it happens, I love the sound of the word. It has a joyful, lucky sound to it – which is how I felt while putting away some shopping last night. I confess this SLurl project has been a budget buster as I frequently get sidetracked and end up actually shopping while I test the landmarks. One of my frustrations with Second Life® is that despite having utterly gorgeous lingerie we seldom get to wear it. Even when the layer is free, we often cannot wear our lingerie because straps will show or the thong will rise higher than our pants layer. Yes, we can wear it for our sweethearts, but in that case, how long does it really stay on? Last week I shared one strategy for taking our lingerie public. I decided I would make a continuing series on this topic, examples of lingerie I dragged out of the closet to give them some air.
Today I am using the most common, tried and true technique, wearing a lovely corset as a top. This stunning corset is from Simone Stern’s Style Starts Here – the Ruched Satin Corset with Gemmed Trim. This one is black but it comes in several other colors as well. The jeweled trim on the back of the corset is stunningly beautiful and such a surprise on lingerie.

Yes, another day and an other Gala skin. This is Emerald with vibrant green shadow and luscious red lips. Thankfully there’s enough yellow to the green to make it not look like Christmas meets Face and to make it a good complement to the dress from ALB Dream Fashion. That dress, after the cut, is made with a wonderful puff of a skirt that is so modern in sensibility in contrast to the somewhat retro fabric pattern.
Eshi Otawara of Chambre du Chocolat is incapable of making a boring dress – and Moonlight is no exception. Moonlight is a delightfully naughty gown, baring a sinuous strip of flesh all the way down the body while curving discreetly to follow the body’s curves and cover everything essential, A deep rich tea, it is highlighted with brighter teal accents along the curve.
