Something Lady-Like – Of course.

I start every log in the same way, I stroll up to the third floor of my house, hop on my dressing stand and get nekkid. It is only then that I start to drop onto my floor, like a complacent teenager, anything that has been dropped into my inventory since my last log in, review items, group gifts, invitations, catalogs, presents, things I bought from Onrez or SLX etc etc etc. I throw them around the room opening them haphazardly and whoa be to me when the stuff isn’t boxed. This is a true life tale – inspired by the fashion in these photos. What you see is another DELICIOUS win from the SN@TCH lucky chair – AWESOME dress eh?

Once Upon A Time,

Dressed about like this….a young Gidge sat in a cavernous dark Goth Bar in Seattle with her boyfriend – the King of the Top Hat Wearing Goth boys.  The Biggest Scariest Goth Man (who at about 45 clearly lived in his Mom’s basement and worked at the Target by Day and was only out to scare the 20 somethings by the light of the moon) came strolling over to our dark and pensive corner to exchange angst with us.

During the course of the conversation, it is revealed that he’s sporting a Prince Albert piercing. In my dark and gloomy youth, I wasn’t aware of what that was, so I innocently asked what that meant.

In my newbie-hood days, I was addicted to shopping but also had more than a bit of shopping ADD. I couldn’t always remember WHAT I had purchased.  A lot of this I attribute to my former crew who advised me to fill up my inventory with worthless garbage – so that the few GOOD pieces I had, I couldn’t remember their names – or where I got them, etc.

Consequently, I bought some of the same things more than once.

When I saw the Tateshina mens set posted by Tori Heart a few weeks ago, my first though was, “That would look totally cute on me.” For reasons I never quite understand, a lot of the Bare Rose male models LOOK like girls (one has boobs I swear) so I often eye the menswear with the same desire as the women’s releases.

One of my very favorite features of the releases at Bare Rose is that June frequently offers multiple colors of the same item, for a very reasonable price. This one comes with two sets of pants and 4 shirt colors. Continue reading →

Cajsa Said SWEATER…..

…and then I’m in a sweater mood.  Even in summer a cool cotton sweater can be just the thing at night and I was just strolling around knicknack shopping the other night when I wandered into Stitch by Stitch. Featuring sweaters, some shoes (I’ll show you some on a later post), peasant skirts, and a few other pieces, Stitch by Stitch was a breath of fresh air – especially in their sweater selection.

I wasn’t ready to  completely commit to fall though, and ran over to Digit Darkes to pick up a leather skirt to wear with it……and realized once I had it all together I only own stockings, all of which hit under the skirt for a “I am an SL hooker” sort of look. Don’t get me wrong, I looooove stockings. But sometimes they just don’t look right with a skirt or dress. So I went on a hunt for PANTYHOSE. Continue reading →
