Yesterday I was trying some great poses from Studio Sidhe and I liked them so much that I decided to use them for my new post on here. Well, actually I used just one pose, my favourite of the whole pack, but I highly suggest you to go check out all of them.

The awesome summer sweater is one of the latest releases from *Crazy* Clothes, it’s fresh, comfy and sexy at the same time: just pay attention to the subtle see-through look………Intriguing, isn’t it? 😉
I love loan Jogiches creations, that mix of urban sensuality which reveals the pure essence of her style.

Malinconia

I purchased this hairstyle some weeks before the Hair Fair, then the HF came and i totally forgot about it. Yesterday i was going through my messy inventory and saw it and i immediately wore it ‘cause it’s absolutely fabulous! It’s a gem from (fashionably dead) and one of my fav hairstyles ever, I know that for sure! It’s called “Olivia Watches Melrose Place“. Cool name.

Hello!

Here are the hairstyles I (me, the picky one!) liked the most at the HF, the ones that made me go “wow!”, the ones that met my crazy taste. And yeah, something else made me go “wow!”, it’s the latest release from LAQ, a beautiful freckly skin that I’m wearing in the following pictures.

First Date/Second Date

Modern Gypsy’s newest collection is full of interesting and avant garde designs. The Dovetta dress is, in my opinion, the most arresting – or the most likely to get you arrested since it doubles as a deadly weapon. In jest, I said it was a First Date dress, but then decided to explore the idea further – styling it for a First Date with an unknown quantity, giving it a hard-edged, remote styling. I added tintable leggings from Fashionably Dead and a belt from M.A.II.K.I in a bright cerise.

Luckily for this imaginary date and me, the prims detach for a more comfortable Second Date. I switched to a red belt from Lelutka and ditched the leggings.

Hair Fair Short Hair

I decided to sort the hair by style and show them to you in groups of short, long, updos and so on. This first post shows you some of the short hair at Hair Fair. I actually got several more short hair styles but they were men’s styles and I thought I would rather show you that as a group. Some of these I tinted to get closer to the red I prefer.

Oh no she didn’t! She did. Alice Chenaux now tells us to blog whatever we want to blog about. Well, that is what I was doing before the BBBC. (grin) Okay, so I decided to check out Hamlet’s suggestions, especially one that struck me as fatally flawed from the outset. He suggested the following question for Tuesday; “The Second Life fashion scene is infamous for negative interpersonal drama. Do you think it’s possible to make it less so, and if so, how?”  I know, I know, we don’t do drama on our blog, but I think it’s possible to discuss what I think about SL Fashion drama without creating a new drama. We will find out soon enough if it is. Pardon my while I grab my umbrella and scurry under cover.

Thursday night I was DJ’ing for a party at our Photo Studio and wanted a hot little outfit for dancing.  I had recently purchased a cute little sundress from SeVan and really wanted to wear that gorgeous yellow print, but wasn’t in the mood for a dress, so I decided to wear the top. I added the oh-so-versatile Shiny Shiny Magic Pants that I can tint to any color and tinted them the blue in the top’s print. They didn’t meet up perfectly so I tossed on one of the sashes from the Fat Pack from Persona. But it looked unfinished to me. Then I remembered this gorgeous shrug jacket from Digit Darkes in bright yellow. No, I didn’t put on the jacket, I just put on the sleeves, making them look like they were part of the SeVan top. Mixing and matching is so much easier in Second Life. Can you imagine doing that in real life? More photos on my flickr.

Shiny Shiny Magic Pants

In the mood to explore, i knew I wanted some comfortable pants – sexy comfortable pants, of course. This outfit started around the oh-so-hot Shiny Shiny Magic Pants from Fashionably Dead. Their stretchy shiny lycra is made for sexy comfort. These are pants you can tint in Edit Appearance mode to any shade you desire.  If you go to pick up a pair, use patience scrolling through the vendors. It’s in there.

I paired it with a top from the Zurie pants outfit from Seasons, an outfit i purchased because I loved the top, intending from the beginning to wear the top with other pants. I love the retro sensibility of the top and its bold colors. However, I would rather not wear a belly-baring top while exploring so i added the white sash from the Persona fat back of sashes on the jacket layer and then tinted it in Appearance mode as well. I highly recommend picking up the fat pack – an inexpensive wardrobe enhancer that you will never regret.

This gave the me idea of exploring the tremendous versatility of color-changing purchases in putting this outfit together.  I am a fan of color-changing and do it all the time because most of the red hairstyles in SL just don’t give me that deep red auburn that I want, so i have tinted about 75% of my hairstyles to get the color I want. I also use CW’s manicure that you can tint in Appearance mode for maximum flexibility. 

To stay with the color-changing them, i opted to use CKS’s Bamboomerangs Earrings which can be changed to more than a dozen different options and Fresh-Baked Goods Donut bangles whose base color can be changed with a simple touch. I was tempted to wear color-changing shoes, but really, these Periquita’s suited the outfit too well to wear anything else.
