There is this really terrible movie, but it has one really memorable scene in it (one of the only that isn’t gratuitous sex), the movie is called Wild Orchid. In it, a female and a male are having this raucous affair – and the male is an old friend of the female’s boss – who is also a lady. Ok, got the set up?

My box of Christmas Gifts from Cajsa included gift cards to Sweetaholic.  So she says to me the other night “Have you been to Sweetaholic?” and I mumble no, really – thinking with a name like that – it’s gotta be some booboo kitty-emo-harajuku-Batz Maru kinda joint. With big puffy t-shirts.

A Skin Fit For A Fairy Queen

I still have a penchant for fairy things, from my days as the Vicious Fairy (some might say I rather secretly still AM the Vicious Fairy), and when Cajsa and I threw a Winter Fairy Ball last year, nothing but the queen of the fairies would do for me.

Wandering the grid, I’m prone to finding leftover hunt items sitting about. This is especially true around holidays, and I know how it can be. I once left Easter Eggs sitting out around Vicious Island for over a month – because I forgot where I hid them + Cajsa and I were really busy hosting two HUGE themed events per week.

Dress Me Up Challenge – Gidge in Harajuku by Candy Lemmon

I look at a lot of Harajuku in RL, the style fascinates me. So when I was challeged to do a Harajuku piece by Candy Lemmon, I immediately knew I wanted a big fluffy coat thing – I’ve been seeing them in mags slapped over the mismatched plaids and heavy handed cloth worn by the youth culture that defines Harajuku.

A big old silly fur coat. If I could find one in fun colors that’d be even better, but when I ran into this WHITE one, which was exactly what I wanted, a floofy white fur coat from Ookami Ningen I KNEW KNEW KNEW what I wanted to do.

Abraxxa Anatine of Earthstones is one of my favorite jewelry designers on the grid, so when she gave me the opportunity to review her Tokon Chained cuffs and collar I knew which stones I’d wear.

October’s Cursed Stone – OPAL.

Roman tradition says that if you aren’t born in October, you will be CURSED for wearing this stone.  Having been BORN in October, I do like to rock the opals whenever I can – just to flaunt it at the jewelry gods and their silly rules.
