It never fails to amaze me the really talented creators I will hear say things like “I don’t know how to get my things blogged” or “I’m too shy to send review  copies, what if they don’t like me?” And then there are the dramanistas stirring it up with the whining about who gets blogged and how often and how person X NEVER GETS BLOGGED WAAAAAAAAAAAH.

Seriously, when I see this – my thought is “Wow, you seem to have a lot of time on your hands, why don’t you help your friend out with some PR work promoting them to bloggers?”

But instead of being an asshat, I decided that what is second nature to me and the bloganista community (I just made that up. That’s my word – Bloganista – you may use it but you gotta pay me 10%) might be an alien adventure to those you not card carrying members of the Fashion Mafia. So I want to share with you how it SHOULD work and what you SHOULD do, if this is important to you – or to your friend who apparently can only have you speak for them. Continue reading →

Tenshi Vielle’s Boutique is aptly named- you’ll find vendors all over including on the store. So mind that – the things you want to buy you might be standing on. I’ve chastised her though – I think some of her best things are hidden away upstairs. Silly rabbit.

The Carnie Cootch Ballerina set from Sn@tch brought back fond memories of small midwestern towns, their county fairs – and carnies who always offered us free rides in exchange for letting them molest us.

Well you know, they made offers that had a lot of explicit words and acts in them. However, the law puts a different label on most of them. And they always SEEMED like a high price to PAY just for a ride on the Tilt A Whirl. Continue reading →

Inconveniently Undead

I’m a very socially active girl. You can imagine my distress when I woke up one evening FAR after my normal waking time, to discover myself among the Undead!  This was clearly going to put a crimp in my entertaining and social schedule!

Or was it? I decided right then and that I’d just have to accept Vampire as part of my new look and go about my business as normal. After all, I I have entertaining to do!

And – buffets to dust!

I find myself a bit more full of whimsy and giddy-ness since I’ve joined the Undead. Perhaps it’s simply a symptom of being Nouveau Undead and I’ll settle down with time. After all, it just doesn’t seem appropriately somber to be this exuberant AND Undead! Continue reading →

So the lip rings I’m sporting in the pic above were a hunt gift from 42 that I somehow failed to get into the last post. That being said, I figured I would give you a gander since I don’t WEAR facial piercings usually. I’m too delicate lol.

The VIP Hunt Gift from 42 sent me to their store to patronize them further, where I promptly lost my effin mind. Everything in the store is 42 lindens. How did I miss this?

I won’t say I bought everything……..

But I did pick up most of my ensemble for Dancien Graves B-day party there! Including this nutty skin which is just extraordinary and called Galaxies Nebula. I was in a very purple mood the past few days can you tell? Continue reading →
