I have coveted these shoes at Tesla for some time, and this great spring jacket was just the thing I needed for an excuse to pick up the fatpack. They’re so cute! Continue reading

There is a very short list of creators who make what I call “traditional party dresses” of high quality. I have always counted on Ivalde to supply me with a good deal of my inventory in this category, I suppose because it was the 1950s in my last life? Continue reading

While it might not be my fantasy to own Chanel jeans, or those inspired by such, I certainly couldn’t resist this delicious set Cajsa got me the other day when I was feeling down and grumpy.
I’m tremendously grumpy when I get into such moods, and it took something this frivolous to bring me out of my dark mood. Who can be sad when thinking that CHANEL JEANS exist in the world? Continue reading

Oh, the Designer Showcase Network dropped another stunning dress on me. This lovely Hothouse Flower from Ingenue showed up in my inbox and reminds me how much I love Ingenue’s lovely vintage clothing. This dress, however, seems to indicate some new, more contemporary, styles are coming out as well. The sculptie bodice is a delight and after increasing it just a bit to fit the bust, it was perfect. I also have to give her props for attaching the bodice to the right pec, leaving the spine and chest free for jewelry.

Some stores have names that just sound like they are fated to offer outstanding quality and succeed – to be the stores that become the clothiers of generations. Well, clothing generations of Second Life residents might be an outsized ambition, but Whippet & Buck have the name, and most importantly, they have the quality. The name makes me think of England and John Robert Cozens and all those country fashions of investment dressing – the dress that is timeless and is worn for decades. Well, they seem to have that idea in mind themselves as their forms are timeless and classic, such as this magnificent pencil dress and crop jacket.

I went away from Neko and into a different RP after I bought these goggles at Naeko. Here you see me smoking my last good French cigarette, and pondering how to maintain my fashionista lifestyle – THE DAY AFTER.

The cigarette and the goggles were fighting for an attachment point, so I had to flip them about a bit until I made them both work. Took a while. I’m teary eyed because I had to blow up all the dramaz-qeenz with my Corrupted Cannon – another gift from Naeko during the hunt. Continue reading

I may be the only one that gets dressed and ready even when they have no plans. I wasn’t in a shopping mood, or an exploring mood, or an IMing old friends or people who are on my friends list and I don’t know who they are anymore……….Mood.
I was just in a sitting around mood. Weird, eh? Continue reading

I always love a good system skirt like the one with this dress from Baiastice. Sadly, many women avoid them becuase they don’t know how to adjust their shape so they think system skirts give them balloon butts. Well, technically, I guess system skirts do give you balloon butt, but if you shrink your butt before hand, it’s no biggie. I want to mention this because there’s a great tutorial over at What the Fug? If you avoid system skirts because of butt balloonery, head over there right now!!

Ok so I’m shopping at Little Heaven – THE SCARIEST SHOP ON THE FACE OF THE EARTH AND IF YOU DO NOT BELIEVE ME GO TO THE DAMNED BASEMENT……..anyway, I walk into the hair section and VOILA! G! On the LUCKY CHAIR!
I hadn’t even rezzed enough to see WHAT was in said lucky chair for the WIN but hey. FREE HAIR! I hopped in, collected my bootey and then hopped back up. Slapping on my new DELPHINE Hair…….I was greeted by tresses which would make Crystal Gale weep. Continue reading

Okay, so I’m showing you my entries to the Tres Jolie photo contest.
I’m not a photographer. I don’t even play one on TV. But I’m sort of getting INTO taking my own pictures and I figured Iota is a friend and she wouldn’t laugh hysterically at me if I entered.
I took about, oh……..200 pictures. NO LIE. About 178 of them are EXACTLY THE SAME. This is how I know I will NEVER actually BE a photographer. Because there are probably nuances of difference between them which I will NEVER see. Continue reading
