When I was still little enough to play with Barbie’s, THE Barbie to have the year I was about 10 was SUPERSTAR BARBIE. Swathed in pink with ridiculously girly gown, flowing blonde hair and diamonds, SUPERSTAR BARBIE was THE ONE. Malibu Barbie was good. But she couldn’t hold a candle to the joy of unwrapping that 11inch doll box and seeing that pinky goodness swaddled in carboard.
YEAH I GOT ONE! WHAT’D YOU THINK THIS WAS SOME STORY ABOUT ME PINING FOR THE BARBIE I NEVER GOT? PFAH! AS IF!

I love skins that have LIPS I CAN SEE (like this one) and eyeshadow that interests me. I’m not always so into the artsy eyes, but once in a while one will catch my eye. What I like most of all, though, is make up that is interesting enough to catch your eye without being garish.

There are a handful of jewelers in SL I really like. Bliensen and MaiTai have a special place in my heart, I must confess, because they sent me the first review pack of jewelry I ever got. I still feel the damn way if they send me something, too. “OOO! ME? WHAT? You sent ME a present?” Delight & joy, like Christmas for a grown up pixel girl.

Okay I don’t have a song. This one is just a quick but I wanted to show you some great free stuff, both hunt and NON Hunt.
The clothes are from Merlynn’s Closet which is new to me. I TPd over on a notice of a free outfit to check them out and I’m really digging the casual pieces she gave away (pictured). The top was available in multiple layers (YAY! GOOD CREATOR!)Â with different options and the pants are a nice rich texture that has good details. So YAY! I’m not sure these are still free but their quality warrants a visit! I’m totally going back. Continue reading

I used to think that I didn’t wear dark skin tone skins -let’s say it BLACK skin tones, because I couldn’t identify with them. Chalk that up to being white and American.
