The first time I put on the Efe skin, my first thought was that “MAN, This sort of looks like my friend Emma!” Emma is a real life friend, and is as pretty or not prettier than the combo of my shape + Efe’s skin. Which is a fairly good compliment to a human person, as Efe is amazingly pretty.
I have been looking for something subtle but pretty to wear when I showed off my first acquisition from a too cool earring shop EAR CANDY, and this group gift sweater from PINK COUTURE totally fit the bill. Continue reading

I love it when a designer (especially one I’m not all that familiar with) throws out a new release with ONE color a little cheaper. I think it’s a great alternative to a freebie. We get to check you out and see if we like your work and you still get a payment, albeit token, for your work. I know if I like your work – I won’t hesitate to come back and pick up the color I love. Jewelry with religious tones is always fascinating to me, be it an Ankh or a Cross or something from the east (okay technically the ankh is from EAST of me but I’m thinking EAST of that). I like especially like wearing Celtic Crosses (that’s the Irish in me) and this stylized Celtic set from Earthstones is a great modern take on an intricate traditional style. When Alice07 Barzane announced that the Peppermint Blue 1 Year Anniversary Party was going to be a Western Theme……I knew where I was going to turn. While I LOVE the fun of just hunting up stuff via search (I actually do) – looking up stores I might not have heard of etc to see what they have, I’d been looking for a reason to pick up WASTELAND COWGIRL from Bare Rose for quite a while.
I don’t normally look for a reason to pick up clothes, but this kind of falls into the “Costume” milieu of my closet and I don’t generally just collect costumes without cause.
