So Candy Flanagan suggested pink and more specifically, she wrote, “Try raiding Honey Kitty or Momo for a super girly look, completed by hair from Gritty Kitty and accessories from Violet Voltaire.” I hope I meet her brief with this girly-girl pink outfit pulled together from Momo.

Dress Me Up As a Pirate? (Cajsa by Hannah)
Okay, so L&S designer Hannah Yakan is smart enough to see that the Dress Me Up Challenge is a great way for designers to get some blogging exposure and she sent me two outfits to choose from. Being the water lover I am, I had no difficulty in choosing the Anne Bonney pirate costume…which could be mixed and matched in individual pieces. I used my Bishwear Toss Me Around hair because it has that whole pirate wench thing going…and posed out on the posing rocks…thinking Anne Bonney could be taking a rest, supervising her crew while they dig for treasure.

My directions from Achariya were quite generous in allowing me to choose what I wanted. She wrote:

Flipped For Black
I do love the Symphony Sweep hairstyle from Armidi and its sweet little flip in the bangs before the lovely roll of hair curving round the head. It’s a sleek, stylish and sophisticated update of an old style that makes it fresh and modern. With a little black dress, it’s delightful.
Rules Are Meant To Be Broken
Never mix plaids. If you wear plaid, wear on only one article of clothing. These are rules that are meant to be broken. Carefully! You can mix plaids, just make sure they are similar in hue and that the patterns are a different size.
