You know who I don’t see enough of on the fashion blogs? Dollyrock. I don’t know why. Longetivy? Is it one of those places that we all know is there and assume everyone else knows is there so she doesn’t need any blog love?
I think it’s an uncanny nack she has for making either simple constructions lovely and unique, as well as producing very creative looks that are unique to her shop. I picked up this skirt and sweater over at Edge Designs after Belle Lefavre sent me over there exploring. I thought the skinned knees were very reminiscent of my youth, where I tripped and fell over everything in sight regularly. Forbidden to wear clogs of any sort due to such clumsiness, I would have rocked this look daily had I dressed this way, I promise.

When I picked up my fatpack of Alto tone skins at Symphony Skins – I told creator Claire Harford that I was gonna rummage through inventory and break them out in some bikinis to show them off. They’re gorgeous with nice femme tummies and no muscle-y shadowing while still looking quite fit.
Plus she included a cleavage version with some monster cleavage going on – this one’s for the …….boys! (Or girls if that’s how you roll). Continue reading

Or just stay swaddled in another super fun production by June Dion’s BARE ROSE. Bare Rose as we all know is great for boxing up several versions of their clothes and for often giving you accessories (FTW) and goodies to complete your look.
TOY SHOP GIRL is no exception.
Including the jeans, top, bag and all the other accessories (most of which are just images on the bag or the shirt which is good, you aren’t carting around a lot of prims and they are well done and look good). It also includes the glasses which Cajsa insists make me look like Sarah Palin.

So I’ve been drooling all week watching Cajsa break out the Evie’s closet love. One of the great things about blogging with a partner is that although we do like alot of the same stores – we often shop at places the other places has never heard of/never goes to. So you get great exposure to other shops that you might have taken months to find.
Such as Evie’s. I’m notorious for hearing of a place and then never making it over. I know……all you creators love my attention span, right?
This heavy velvet medieval gown is probably better suited for Christmas time and madrigals but I just can’t care. I am completely enamored of it, and was the second it rezzed in her store. This gorgeous gown set me back exactly L$500…….which is NUTS considering it’d be L$1500 at other shops for such incredible quality and gorgeous, rich design. Continue reading

I love natural fibers in my clothes. In RL I’m far too lazy to maintain them or iron them etc, but I love the look and feel of them to the exclusion of anything else. Faery Sola announced she had made some highwaisted pants about the same time I receive a group gift from the SUPER gracious Pink Outfitters group and well……..they both ended up on my ON the same day.
