Every once in a while I end up with boy clothes from creators, and I always have to try them on. Because I never know when I’m going to find a gem.  This jacket came to me from Bobo’s Masquerade (who also sent me girl clothes I haven’t tried on yet) and is part of a big men’s swashbuckler type outfit.

The instant I put on the tapestry textured jacket – I just knew which was I was going. I don’t know if you are familiar with Graham Norton of the BBC, but he dresses impeccably yet creatively – and one night Dolly Parton was the guest on his show. Continue reading →

We’re all showing our appreciation for Neferia Abel today and I thought it’d be fun to show you one of my first pick ups at Ivalde.  When Ivalde was at an old location there was a rockin freebie wall, for the fashionista who adored vintage wear and the sense to shop at a nicer store.

I went away from Neko and into a different RP after I bought these goggles at Naeko. Here you see me smoking my last good French cigarette, and pondering how to maintain my fashionista lifestyle – THE DAY AFTER.

The cigarette and the goggles were fighting for an attachment point, so I had to flip them about a bit until I made them both work. Took a while. I’m teary eyed because I had to blow up all the dramaz-qeenz with my Corrupted Cannon – another gift from Naeko during the hunt. Continue reading →

So I’m still working my way, SLOWLY, through all the gifts from the VIP hunt and trying to patronize the retailers who participated due to their overwhelming giftiness. At almost NO distance into the list (like umm, # 2 or #3) I hit Naeko and I’ve been STUCK there.

Sigh. I just don’t DO neko. I don’t like it. I don’t dislike it on YOU, as a matter of fact I’ve got a couple of friends who rock various degrees of neko at ANY given time. And it can be cute on them. But me, no.  I’d say it’s not my role play but it’s deeper than that. I sort of have a weird aversion – I don’t want to be a neko any more than I want to be a mech.

It just doesn’t do it for me…….AT ALL.

So I’ve been dithering and I swear to GOD I’ve been single handedly driving up their traffic numbers repeatedly going to Naeko and desperately trying to decide what I could buy and what I could DO with it, given my girly-princess, Barbie-wanna- be- brat nature.

My recent drop by the DSN was a gorgeous smexy baby-doll nighty from JEALOUSY whose main-store I have yet to find. I went to the LM I had but it said they’d moved, and then I tried to get the new LM giver to give me one but it wouldn’t soooooo, I’m assuming they’ve moved and I will find them soon.

Delicately sexy, but definitely something for alone time OR time with someone you know VERY well ( or are intending to know well in very short order), the Booty Baby-doll has sleek styling and opaque texture while being JUST a bit revealing. (You gotta look CLOSE) Continue reading →

I remember it really well, the first time Cajsa showed up in Ivalde. She was wearing one of the colors of the dress pictured ABOVE and my first thought was “WTF? Where did she find clothes like that?” I was still peeling myself out of the shorty tank shorty skirt crew and trying to figure out where all the decent clothes were BESIDES Digit Darkes.  That skirt set burned into my mind, and the next time I saw her in something retro I asked her where she got it.

Ok so I’m shopping at Little Heaven – THE SCARIEST SHOP ON THE FACE OF THE EARTH AND IF YOU DO NOT BELIEVE ME GO TO THE DAMNED BASEMENT……..anyway, I walk into the hair section and VOILA! G! On the LUCKY CHAIR!
