So I had never been to SLink till Cajsa bought me prim feet the other day. But I was enamored by her monochromatic styles and the rich, jewel tones of her textures.

Consequently I had to go back.  My friend QXI Gears was having an art exhibit (which I did not make SHAKES FIST AT RL!!!) but I wanted something slinky and sexy as QXI does erotic art (which will make your head explode, your eyes pop out and turn you on in ways which disturb you).

So, I decided pairing up a couple of my new pieces from SLink would exactly fit the bill.

So were you like me, and went to ETD and bought every flippin hairstyle she made since god was a boy – back when she had her big sale? And are you like me now buying every damn thing you see that is new? I found this – and forgot I had it.  I thought it was kind of a fun and messy ‘do for the look.

No Place For Beginners or Sensitive Hearts..

So my only two trips to Vegas were via the company I worked for, business trips of various sorts. Despite that, I got to look from my “I’m just here on business with no cash for nutty stuff” point of view at some of the legendary Vegas activities.

Such as, prostitution!

The last time I went,our company rented out the entire Treasure Island/Mirage hotel complex (ahem yeah it was a big company) and put up every manager and above from around the world.

One of my two favorite moments in Vegas came in the casino by the elevators to the tower rooms at the Treasure Island.  I step off the elevator and walk toward the bar, where the president of my division (my boss) is seated, chatted up by this bejeweled girl in bright green. Continue reading →

I love that I can roll over to Frick whenever I’m in the mood for something nutty or different, and pick up one of her fantasy skins – and do so for very few lindens. I had to have this retro pinup skin as it’s called Brigitte – and Gidge’s RL name is the same.

I’m slowly on a quest to acquire things with my name to make an “ALL ABOUT ME” outift. ”

Fricka’s prices are good and her variety is such a treat. I do love all the fun skins. I usually take new player friends over there to pick up “something different” when they have been on the grid a few days. They ALL love it. Continue reading →

Date Night FUNKY!

This was originally a completely different outfit. I had these pants which were BRILLIANT! One leg pink, one leg turquoise and these sneakers that were each the opposite color and it was BAM cool.

However, something went wonky every time I wore the pants for about two minutes, THEY LOST THEIR TEXTURE.

I have no idea, I need to file a JIRA unless someone knows WHY that happens and how to fix it. And yes I rebaked and that did NOT help nuttin. Continue reading →

It all started with a blogpost on Freestyle about a free snowboard! I was bored, had no one to hang out with and though, Hey – I’ll go get that snowboard. That’d be a hoot.

Except I couldn’t FIND it. I round RAY SKIN just fine, and I found a lot of cute freebie clothes (worn) but no snow board. Now, as will happen when there is a post from Freestyle, it was kind a crackalackin busy with freebie hunters and folks checking out a store new to them. So it was lagarrific and hard to get around. My shopping day started with a temper tantrum, which was unwarranted but I am prone to them In World. I was putzing around Diversity Hair – when I spied Aleri’s sign “Free Skins to Avatars Under 30 Days Old.” This was not the cause of my tantrum. No the cause was that the picture with this sign was of some bomb-ass hair that I couldn’t understand WHY I didn’t own. I mean, I don’t own ALL of her hair, but I don’t miss a release lately……not in months. And no way would I have missed such a swishy girly look as this. Continue reading →
