I went to the Shopping Cart Disco Prom Night on Thursday night though my coach turned into a pumpkin way too early. Nonetheless, I was more than happy with my prom dress from Rebel Hope and had a great time.

If I Ruled the World: Day Three of I ♥ EC Week
This week you have seen how Evie’s Closet dresses can make you feel like a Princess and a Jazz Queen. Today, however, I am featuring a dress that will make you have visions of empire. Yes, this is a dress for the doyenne of dominions in every hemisphere. Queen Victoria, Empress Theodora, Maria-Theresa, these are the rulers worthy of this regal power and elegance. Just look at that skirt – it’s made for sweeping up tiny countries.
Who you calling Princess?
I wore this outfit on Sunday – to lounge about The Velvet whilst listening to Maht’s set. It’s comfy casual, as you can see, though I suppose I should look into getting new leggings. Those look a bit worn.
Want to feel like a queen? Pt. 2 of I <3 EC Week
Now who wants to be Princes of QuiteALot when you could be Queen of Everything? Well, maybe not everything, but this dress from Evie’s Closet is one that makes me feel like a Jazz Queen. Maybe the Queen of Sweden who comes to Minnie the Moocher’s Wedding Day? Wait, that was the King of Sweden, wasn’t it If so, well that makes the song much more “political” as he was rumored to be Joe Hill’s father. But that’s too stream of consciousness for fashion blogging. Focus! So let’s focus on the lovely Octavia dress from Evie’s Closet. It’s got a gorgeous Greco-Roman style that would make it at home in the Senate or the Agora, but for me, also makes me think of the Egyptian Revival that flourished during the Jazz Age, which is why I paired it with Art Deco jewelry.
Want to feel like a fairy princess?
Okay, there’s two sure-fire ways to feel like a fairy princess. First, you could prick your finger, sleep for 100 years and wake to a kiss by some handsome prince who’s 100 years younger than you and then be called a Cougar Princess all your life…or you could go the easy route and TP over to Evie’s Closet and buy yourself one of her stunning gowns. I recommend the latter, it’s faster.
A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To the Photo Shoot

It started out simply enough. I’m in World. Cajsa is in World. One of us says “Wanna shoot?” – the other agrees and she TPs me into her photo studio at MDR. I land in the sphere with her and wander out to the platform to wait for the world to rezz a bit.
Ya with me?
I spin around and take a look at the cute outfit she’s got on, sweet little casual skirt look with a denim jacket. Myself I was wearing my “PRIM WHORE” shirt from Weirdiculous that I got for my first REZZ day and had my title all planned out “KNOW THYSELF”……..
I had planned to be witty. Continue reading
Business as Usual

Wetherby’s is truly one of my new shopping addictions. I know I told you before, she offers shoes with most if not all of her dresses, and the shoes look great – vs. the garbage you sometimes get in “complete outfits”.
Cajsa had remarked when I blogged Sascha Frangilli’s Roxanne a few days ago that the belt was smokin’ hawt – and I agreed, and fangrld that it was on the jacket layer so I could use it with other things.
Like this!
The dress is a really nice retro cut (think 1964) dress but adding the belt gives it a little urban edge that I think is anachronistic and fun.
Yeah, I just said a lot of stuff didn’t I? Continue reading
I've Been Harperized
While reading the blogs yesterday, I read my friend Harper Ganesvoort‘s marvelous overview of Tukinowaguma hair. I already had hair from there, but her post was still a revelation – of how long its been since I went there and how much the hair has developed and improved. The first place I went after signing in was straight to Tukinowaguma Main Store – and was stunned by all the irresistible options. This one – Pincushion – jumped right into my inventory. Now, the vendor pictures showed no red hair options and I figured I would be tinting, but this is color-change scripted so I only had to click on the hair, the red button and test the many, many red options.
But…I would not say I was Harperized if it were only one thing. You see, I signed in this morning and surprise, surprise Harper had gifted me a lovely, wonderful and sexy dress from Clio. I should point out that Harper is not associated with Clio other than as a customer who gave this lovely gown as a gift. Of course, I had to try it on immediately.
Now that’s Harperized! Oh my, that Pincushion hair is made for back shots. And isn’t the train on this dress magnificent?
Party Pansies
Last night Gidge’s husband Silo threw a Rez Day bash to celebrate his second year in Second Life. The theme was Guilty Pleasures – those songs you love but are too embarassed to admit it. Well-named I have to say. Requests were sent in ahead and were played anonymously – and very few owned up to their requests. Still, it was the most interesting playlist I have every DJ’ed and we had a lot of fun. I wore this lovely dress – as spring-like and feminine as they come.
Belle Lefavre Took Me Shopping
posted by Gidge Uriza
I only have two types of girlfriends in SL. Fashionista creators/bloggers or artistes. Both are bad on my wallet. I usually dump craploads of lindens any time I am out with either set – either shopping WITH them or supporting their/their friends art.
So imagine my delight when putzing along with friend Belle to have to drop me into Wetherby’s which is a new joint to me. I liked the little cocktail-esque gowns they had for sale and the prices were pretty good – until I realized they were selling complete outfits including shoes for only like $L30 more than the regular price of the dress.
Ahem. SCORE! Continue reading
