I went to the Shopping Cart Disco Prom Night on Thursday night though my coach turned into a pumpkin way too early. Nonetheless, I was more than happy with my prom dress from Rebel Hope and had a great time.

Do you want to feel like a Star? Part 4 of I ♥ EC Week
If you want to feel like a star you could initiate massive hydrogen fission and combust, burning at temperatures beyond my imagination, but measurable in Kelvins. Or you could run over to Evie’s Closet and pick up the wonderful Love Story gown. Believe me, the second option is much better for your complexion.
Art & Fashion
Lady Thera’s Art & Fashion is the store for art lovers who also love fashion. She doesn’t just plop a picture on a t-shirt but rather samples the original art in order to create patterns with which she creates new and original work. Her sampling is so well done, you might call her LT Cool, but you had probably better not. This dress is based on William Turner’s work. Turner was the master of painting sea and sky which you can sense from this dress. There’s a marvelous online collection at the Tate Online.
This picture, by the way, was shot at MDR Photo Park – on the black field, a huge flat black plane. I then just rezzed some surreal flowers from MiaSnow including an artichoke tree. Because I am not landscaping, I can stack flowers on top of flowers, making a sort of box of flowers and get a full background with any gaps filled in by the black field. It’s a fun, fast and easy way to make an impressionistic background like this.

We Twinkle Below
House of Heart came through with a hair style that can top any twinkling diva when creating this Tousled confection replete with black ostrich feathers and everything but the cherry on top.Pairing it with this twinkling Twilight dress from the one and only… You know this dress so perfectly epitomizes this designer’s aesthetic that I should not even tell you who she is. You should just know from looking.
Ah! You all guessed Digit Darkes, didn’t you? Go to the head of the class. Now you really didn’t think I would keep it a secret. Right this moment I am envisioning hundreds of fashionistas wearing this dress and converging together on the wonderful garden at Wanderstill and twinkling and swirling in field after field of flowers. Green is my favorite color – always has been. Like brown and blue, it’s one of the ubiquitous colors of nature – those colors we humans see the most of. Blue skies, brown earth and green grass and trees – the colors of when the world is right and everything is in its place.
