When I put on the Star dress from Alafolie I was so distracted by the glitter of the paillettes that I didn’t even notice on of the best features of the dress until I hopped over to The Velvet to listen in on a friend’s set and spend the evening dancing. That was when I noticed how beautifully the dress moved. But you don’t have to take my word for it, I shot a very short little movie that I will post after the cut so you can see for yourself. As to the dress, I love this simplicity of the idea of the intense coverage of paillettes that decreases as they go away from the bodice.

I stopped by China the other day and saw a couple TP points I had not noticed before that can take you to the China Boat or the China Square. I decided to take a look at China Square and discovered a modern, urban industrial setting with a touch of futurism. It seemed just perfect for the outfit I was wearing – the Emmanuelle catsuit from Kunglers.

The suit has beautiful lines as the seams contour down the torso and so does China Square. I love the brilliant lighting that creates the mood of a busy city.

The break is over….

This is my first fashion post in quite some time. I was super excited when IOF invited me to be a part of their blog and I hope I don’t screw it up.
I came to realize last night that being out of the fashion loop even for a few months makes one feel like a total noob when it comes to shopping, especially for someone who wears mostly just undies. It’s true, ask anyone, I’m always in my roos.
Anyways, I browsed my small inventory for things to work off of and I found nothing so I decided it was time to head to the marketplace. I wanted something kind of fancy/edgy/christmas-y. I think I pulled it off. I found most of the pieces except for the hair and skin off the marketplace.

The strangest idea has gained currency over the past few centuries to the point that the majority of people on the planet are flat out wrong about one of the most basic facts of life: Fairies do exist. People don’t often see fairies and they move faster than hummingbird wings, but I am certain every single one of you reading this post have caught a flash of movement in the corner of your eye, but when you looked, you could not see what it was. Well, that was a fairy. Of course, fairies do come to rest and that’s when you can really see them. Sadly, though, most of us are not looking in the right direction. We are such an earthbound people we forget to look up to see what is right there in front of our eyes.

Fairies are much more common in trees than on the ground. After all, they are often barefoot. They don’t want to get their feet muddy and wet because they can catch colds. When fairies catch cold, the whole world shudders from the force of their sneezing. Those people who deny the science of global climate change are unknowingly onto something. The fairy world has been beset with colds and flus as their immune system becomes weakened by human skepticism and disbelief. As an alternative to conserving fossil fuels and reducing our carbon imprint, we merely have to all of us begin believing in fairies.

Empyreal Dreams –  The Art Anthology is a fantastic project. It gives you the chance to visualize the literature, the poetry. Words become images. Art that creates art.
Some famous poems are featured in this place and one of them is “The Raven” by Edgar Allan Poe.

Shoe Fair!! The Ones That Took Mah Heart!!

Oki!! Let me say im sorry if the skin colors are not 100% on these!! I got them as close as possible BUT!! I am in a rush and on mah way out the door to see a movie!! hehehe But I had a few stores take my heart today.. The Shoe Fair was put together very well and there was no lag what so ever.. 4 sims of shoes.. clothes.. and accessories!! My sister and I were in and out in bout  45 mins seeing all stores!! But!! Here we go onto my favorites!! eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!

OMG PIXEL MODE‘s new shoes Fae where there and they were honestly the main reason I wanted to go to this fair!! Sooooo freakin cute!! I got them in Black and White, but I am sure I will go back for more!! hehehe

N-Core is never a fail!! Amazing new shoes.. the ones you are seeing above are a Shoe Fair exclusive that you can only get at the fair!!!! I got the exclusive and 3 other colors!! Imma shoe whore!! Don’t judge me!!

OMG!! I have been looking for cute flip-flops with feet everrryywwhheerrree!! ! My Pretty Pixels ! has themmmmm as an exclusive!!! I looovvee them oh so much I fat packed them!! Total WIN!!

Love love looovvveeee!! SLink with brilliant new shoes.. there were 3 new releases at the fair and this was my fav of the 3!! YAY!

Annnnnnnnndd Lastly.. A store I have never heard of before… but caught my eye and made me make grabbie hands!! lol that store is R2 fashion.. the shoes above comes in many colors and I just fell in looovvveee!!!

As I said the fair was amazing.. and the build was great!! Make sure you make your way down and check out these amazing designers and get some new shoes!!!

Corduroy usually looks so casual, but Mimikri has sure dressed up corduroy with this Fritzi skirt. The wonderful floral embroidery is gorgeous and the coordinating top dresses it up as well by adding full sleeves and a bow.
