Jewelry with religious tones is always fascinating to me, be it an Ankh or a Cross or something from the east (okay technically the ankh is from EAST of me but I’m thinking EAST of that). I like especially like wearing Celtic Crosses (that’s the Irish in me) and this stylized Celtic set from Earthstones is a great modern take on an intricate traditional style. This dress was a group gift from Alchemy a while back, and I immediately thought BIRTHDAY PARTY DRESS! A good friend was having a birthday party in SL and it was great, I slipped it on and headed over.

Only to realize the party was over and I’d missed it.  AND NO ONE GOT TO SEE ME IN MY CUTE PARTY DRESS!

So the first thing you are saying is GIDGE WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN? At work, dude. At work. New job means TIRED TIRED TIRED. And I decided that since I am so chronically tired, I would show you what I want to be wearing 24/7 in RL.

I own intirely too many pajamas for a game where sleeping isn’t an activity I do. But I’m obsessed, I love to find fun, cool pajamas to wear. I’ve held impromptu pajama parties at my house, or gone to club events etc. Most recently I attended the Hair Fair pajama party the night before the fair opened. Low ARC was not on the menu that night, as you can clearly see. Continue reading →

Blacklace Halloween

I am wary of holiday outfits – so may are one-day-wonders that will never be worn again. You cannot say that about this special Halloween Edition of the Foxy lingerie set from Blacklace.  Blacklace does extraordinary lingerie and does it well, so when Mariska Simons turned her hand to making a holiday set, she did it with a deft, imaginative touch that evokes Halloween implicity, not explicitly – making a lingerie set that can conceivably be worn throughout the year.
