A fun dress in Summer White from Kunglers – Melodie can be worn with three bodice choices. Here you see the striped bottom shirt and the corset over it. You could also wear just the striped batiste or just the corset for three lovely summer looks.

Okay, now that I have spent over 10 minutes cycling through bad title ideas for this post, I hand the job over to you, dear Readers. I am wearing the wonderfully detailed and sexy lingerie from Cicciuzzo Gausman of Riviera Couture. It also comes in Mocha, Black and Blue. Yummy!

I thought about making up a title like I ♥ Italy since the lingerie and the skin I am wearing (PXL Creations) are by Italian designers, but if I had been planning that I would have used the poses by Antosperandeo Allen. Instead I went with the Sex Sells and Sultry poses of Reel Expressions and if you look at the photos you can see they are well-named. Besides, that gorgeous Mirone hair plays a role. So do those luscious earings from Zaara who is from India and though India and Italy both begin with an I, I don’t think that counts.

When I put on this lovely little number from Casa del Shai, the first thing I noticed is that little mole next to the navel on this gorgeous PXL Creations skin. Yummy! It was so yummy I changed the lyrics to the Herman’s Hermits song. Love that tummy!!

I also love how beautifully the Bdreams dress named Puppy (no idea why) works over the Casa del Shai lingerie. And doesn’t that makeup make a lovely, sultry face?

Ambrosia – the drink of the gods. I don’t know what yours is. Mine is a gin & tonic with a dash of Tia Rosa’s and fresh lime. For Polaire of Prelude, it seems it might be a nice froth cafe latte or cappucino. She recently gave me this dress of hers. I added the corset from Polina Kaestner and it suited it so well Polaire said she wished she had thought of it. Polaire and Polina, it must be destiny. Certainly the two pieces look made for each other.
This was another outfit I put together for Second Style. The only reason I feel bad that it fell through is that I asked Polaire to give me this dress for the magazine shoot – and it did not happen. If anyone deserves to have her designs highlighted in a magazine – it’s Polaire. So let’s hope that happens some other way.

I may have been slacking this weekend in terms of posting but only because I worked a hellacious weekend in RL – 14 hour days in 105 weather than had me so tired that if I were not at work, I was asleep. However, I have three days off now and can catch up a bit. This is something similar to what I planned to wear for the conference this weekend before the weather went crazy. It has the professional look I like and is layered with a camisole underneath. The pants, from Lelutka, are a bit of a surprise.

My favorite fabric is charmeuse – a thick heavy and soft as rainwater silk. My favorite piece of clothing in real life is a vintage robe of apricot charmeuse with heavy raised embroidery – apricot on apricot so the bodice holds its shape. I just has to say, silk charmeuse sliding on naked skin is yummy. This dress from Baiastice is charmeuse and honestly when you wear something to wonderful to touch and feel, it’s a crime to wear something underneath it. A Crime!!!

Juliet asked, “What’s in a name?” She answered that names really don’t matter, that which we call a rose by any other name would smell as sweet. Gertrude Stein said something similar, “A rose is a rose is a rose.” But…
She’s wrong!!!

Don’t get me wrong, I would love this new hairstyle from Truth no matter what it was called. It reminds me of my mother braiding my hair in a coronet round my head. It is so me, it takes my breath away, but that it’s also named after me makes me do the happy dance. Yes, this is the Cajsa hair style – a lovely gesture from Truth Hawks – not only making a hair style that I suggested, but giving it my name. I was so excited, I made my RL friends look.

No, we’re not going to start popping and locking and dancing hip hop. The B is in reference to Blowpop and Baiastice – two of our fashion addictions. Both Gidge and I are wearing blowpop skins and then new Group gift from Baiastice – a gold, silver and white short cocktail dress that we each mashed up in different directions.

Mami Jewell of azul gave me this lush dress a few weeks ago – back when I photographed her for my Double Take project. It was not released yet and she said she had a few things to do before releasing it…though what that could be is not clear as I think it is just so luscious and gorgeous and sexy and hot. It’s just an amazing dress.

While at the Fantasay Faire this weekend I saw a notice that Rfyre has a 100L sale back at the store. I had not been there for a long time so decided to go there later. So, off I went and found that Raven Pennyfeather of Rfyre has started a line of high fashion clothing called RP Couture. What really stunned me, though, was this dress – a near perfect replica of my mother’s wedding dress. Only with close examination could I find differences such as my mother’s gloves did not have ruffles at the top and the sculpted shoulders on her dress were rounder. It threw me for a loop but also into a really hunt to find the other elements needed to recreate her look that long ago 20th of June when she married my father.
