High-waisted pants, sleeveless print tops, narrow belts – all are iconic fashions of the 1960s. Shinichi Mathy of Shiki Designs, though, gives them contemporary punch with his bright, saturated colors and shine in the Esme pants outfit. The pink in those pants is pure 2011.

I really only had one thing to say when I saw the SANA release from Adam N Eve for Fantasy Faire. Pink? Sparkly? Makes my ass look fantastic?
OMG DO WANT!?!?!?!!!!!!
Funny story.
The second place I ever lived in SL was called Sana. A friend bought it and I moved there living on part of a huge swath of land he’d purchased. Across the waterway, there was a big house that he’d bought for all his, ahem – girls. He said have fun decorate your house and we’ll all live in peace an harmony.
Which was all good till about a week later when he came over and said “Gidge, I love your house, but the girls say they can’t rezz any objects. And I looked – and you’re using four thousand prims.”
To which I said “What are prims?”
Good times…………..

Where to get it? Mostly – Fantasy Faire!
It’s certainly not original to wear an emerald green dress like Jeanie from Azul at the Emerald Green sim, but I had to do it anyway. The dress is stunning with layers of soft, sheer and ethereal panels that give flirtatious glimpses of the legs. Boldly bedazzled with silver roses, it is a stand-out-in-the-crows sort of dress. I shot it on the forest floor, a beautiful setting.
Shhhhh! I am not supposed to be saying this! But some of you may have seen the drama Elusyve and I had with our store mascots over at GESTICULATE! Well – we had NO choice but to simply let them all go and hold auditions for new store mascots.
As that excitement grew, we realized that the gnomes were never EVER going to let us go – so we did the only thing we could. We completely rebranded and moved everything. As a matter of fact, the gnomes don’t know we’re gone. They’re still sitting around listening to the lucky chair call letters at the old place. Continue reading
I happen to know that Fantasy Faire is coming up (or is it Fantasy Fest? – too many Faires and Fests and what not I can’t keep them all straight) – REGARDLESS, Adam N Eve has just released some delicate and beautiful eye makeups that I think Faeries, Sprites, and various other creatures of the Seelie or Unseelie Courts might find attractive.

Fashion For Life is starting in just a few days and this year looks to be bigger and better than ever. Not only will there be wonderful designs such as this dress from Clio, but the organizers seem to have taken everything learned from every event and incorporated it into their planning to make your experience as wonderful as possible. I read the article at the Fashion For Life website on what they are doing to combat lag and was so impressed by the thought and planning. Bookmark that article because it has useful tips for steps you can take to improve your experience as well. Now, back to the fashion.
Clio Cardiff is fond of color, bright and bold saturated color. So, when I was thinking about where to shoot her Berry dress, I immediately thought of Two Moon Island. I thought I’d start right back in loving on the creators of my favorite blondes and I’ll do it the alphabet way today – starting with Amacci. Amacci (above) makes skin,eyes, tattoo makeups now (sweet) and hair and probably other stuff that I’ve forgotten. I love the tones they use on their blonde textures because from the dirty blondes, strawberry blondes all the way to the pearl whites, they all have a creamy look that’s even and smooth.
They are in my top three long hair makers too. Long hair gets stuck in my boobs so I don’t shoot it that much, but I love to wear it. Continue reading
It was like a sick,cruel joke, that I saw in my offlines the notice about a lingerie release from Baiastice as I lay with fever and chills and other unpleasantries for the last two days. As soon as I could crawl out of the RL and into my grid-world, I had to immediately slip into the gorgeous new releases from Sissy Pessoa.
I couldn’t decide which to blog, so I decided to blog them all.
