I’m back! :P

Hellooooo!
I’ve been away for one month ’cause my computer died and SL did not work properly on the laptop i was using while the new pc was being built. Now i’m back with my fantastic new computer, back to SL and back to blogging, yay!

In pteron

I’m sure you guys know this fantasy skin from Glam Affair which is available at The Dressing Room, it’s absolutely stunning, I really love it, it was my first purchase after my return. Corset and leggings are awesome items from Favole that i was supposed to blog some time ago, but then computer issues didn’t let me, so i’m doing it now. The eyes are a new release from Mayfly, they’re wonderfully detailed mesh eyes (even though in the picture i’m wearing them without the mesh prims) and come in different colours.

Feelin' alive

Have a look at the cool poses, both from Epiphany, I highly recommend you go check them (and all the others) out.

Please forgive the shortness of this post, as i’m in a hurry, i need to go get ready for work.

See you soon!

Ciao šŸ™‚

Early On a Sunday Morning

Nzuri Beryl

I do not understand why my cat thinks I have to wake up when he wakes up, but he is so insistent, rubbing his face on mine and meowing over and over and over until I get up. Unfortunately, he woke up at 3:45 this morning. I have tried to go back to sleep a few times, but without any luck. So, bleary-eyed and grumpy I logged into Second Life hoping to get cheered up. And of course, i was! The first step in the process of turning my frown upside down was putting on this romantic Beryl Dress from Nzuri. It’s a beautifully done empire waisted dress with a lovely pink skirt and floral bodice. The belt at the bodice is a great detail that elevates the dress out of the ordinary.

Now that I have your attention….. Well, I kinda have been bad. Ā It’s been more than a month since my last blog post. Ā I’ve gotten out of habit and I really need to jump back into the fire. Ā  So, with that, I have my contribution for Week 6 of the 52 Week’s of Color – Alice Blue. Ā And its a saucy lil’ lingerie set from Lil’Lace, called Sugar Blue. (Sorry I’m not in-world and do not have LM’s).

Still small

Spring fairy meets Winter chick

It’s true. I’m still a petite. I haven’t had this much fun in an avatar since I discovered Tinies. (I think I spent a whole week dressed as a wee orange cat, once.) I was tickled to find that Evie had created fairy outfits for petites, so I just had to put one on and visit my poor chained slave in Winterland. Just kidding, the lovely Ms. Voshie Paine there CHOSE to sit around in the cold snow all bound up. (Who says little tiny fairies aren’t sadistic.) Anyway, if you want, visit the Yabu petite market and see her wares!

The First Time I Ran Away

apr27_004

I am mixing mesh pants with a system sweater and sculpts, assured that the system top with be firmly tucked in to my pants waist band. This sweater is from The Sea Hole and has a gorgeous teal and brown crocheted lace insert down the front. It comes with a rounded neckline. With all embellishment on the front, I did not want to add a necklace and decided to add this lovely brown collar scarf from The Secret Store.

The first time I ran away I saw
Faces in the dreams I heard
Voices in the storm they say
Uh, uh,… water falls
Uh, uh

DF Stands for Damn Fine (or Donna Flora)

Midnight with Projectors

For me and all the others who worked on the Donna Flora A to Z project, this third new dress in the last month is an encouraging sign on growing strength. I always looked forward to Squinternet Larnia’s weekly notecard of new releases because she is a designer that produces new, fun and different designs. Though sometimes I wondered if she ever slept when I looked at how many releases she used to do each week. It’s exciting that she’s back to producing new things for all of us – even if at a slower pace. This new Harlow dress has all the hallmarks of a Donna Flora design, elegant, feminine and romantic with a special Damn Fine detail that shows it’s hers. In this case, the ombre skirt that takes the pastel dress from sunshine to shadow. It comes in three colors, blue, pink and yellow. I chose the yellow because it was the most literal sunshine to shadow.
