WHY ARE MY FINGERS IN SHADOW! AAAAAAAH!! Okay, ANYWAYS…

I’m doing the happy dance. I’m seriously doing a dance of joy and this was the best way to show you. WHY? WHY?

Well, it all started like this, first I popped into Fleur cuz she’s got all her skins 1/2 price and I like her boutique skins – she’s got some pretty faces and I wanted to take a long gander at what she had just to see if there were any I needed. (cough, cough).

While I’m there studying face by face…I just notice she’s got a freebie up on the wall. And I say, SELF – I wonder what is IN that freebie? I check it’s contents and it’s several skins I HAVE….but it’s also a nice assortment for “newbies” of her Vivant skins which I had never tried.  A range of tones, etc. Continue reading →

Dance?

Okay, so I’m showing you my entries to the Tres Jolie photo contest.

I’m not a photographer. I don’t even play one on TV.  But I’m sort of getting INTO taking my own pictures and I figured Iota is a friend and she wouldn’t laugh hysterically at me if I entered.

I took about, oh……..200 pictures. NO LIE. About 178 of them are EXACTLY THE SAME.  This is how I know I will NEVER actually BE a photographer. Because there are probably nuances of difference between them which I will NEVER see.  Continue reading →

So Cajsa pulled me along with her to check out Miss Muffet who she was introduced to through the Designer Showcase Network. I still don’t belong……I guess I need to now that I actually know what it is. (Thanks for the link Cajsa, I was too lazy to go back through the feed  find it).

Sooooo, last night in an effort to DO something besides just shop I started just messing about in SEARCH. I put in Greece, thinking it might be lovely to putz around some Greek Island or what have you……and well – I found CRETE – a MINOAN ROLE PLAY SIM!

OMG I had to go!  One of their Role Play requests is that you dress in costume (provided for free at the entrance) and that the females BARE THEIR BREASTS – in respect for mother earth, of course.

Well, when in Rome (or Crete.)

This got me to wondering…….how does one ROLE PLAY Minoan?

“Wow that Minotaur, he’s bad, huh?”

“Yeah….baaaad. Hey let’s stop by the temple of the bull and sacrifice Jim.”

“Nice boobs, who does your nipples?”

You know…….stuff like that.

I started off doing the usual touristy stuff, worshipping their gods, going through their market, general sight seeing stuff.

But then I got adventurous and decided to DO THE LABYRINTH!

I Started Out In Laqroki Classic 2 Hair but Switched to Tekeli Lis Melange

I took a couple of wrong turns in the labyrinth, ending up with some sharks once and in a pit of fire once, which wasn’t all that pleasant. But eventually I got out alive.

It was really Ivey Deschanel’s fault. She made these huge floopy boudouir slippers that required new lingerie to wear with them. I’d had them a few days and already felt bad for having nothing new to parade around the house in with them. First and foremost, when dressing for the Indy 500, you gotta consider your feet. It’s gonna be a hell of a walk to your car, even if you have a sweet party house nearby that you call base camp, it’s still a mile or more in urban landscape. So sneaks are in order. The Urban Bomb Unit’s DRUNKS are only my second purchase from that shop but still, those two pair of shoes remain among my favorites. Scripted like mad with color change options on EVERY PART of the shoe, you can truly make an unimaginable range of sneaks out of this one pair of shoes. Indy 500 Fever

Indy 500 fever will be gripping the greater Indianapolis area as the parties and events leading up to the big race are in FULL Swing by now. (ah, I do miss it). Party hopping on Friday before the race used to be a full-on social requirement and the only requirement for being fashionable, was to ROCK the black and white.

I was wandering around Retrology just seeing what I needed and still didn’t have and ambled into this really cute set from Encore. Meeting all the requirements of casual, cute and black & white I decided it was a win for Friday festivities! Continue reading →
