Since the moment I put the Boopie hairstyle from Tickled Pink on my head, that Marilyn Monroe song that Sinead O’Connor covered has been running through my head.
And nobody else but you,
I wanna be loved by you, alone!
Boop-boop-a-doop!

Since the moment I put the Boopie hairstyle from Tickled Pink on my head, that Marilyn Monroe song that Sinead O’Connor covered has been running through my head.

So, when I got dressed for the MDR masquerade party last night, I chose the tangled skirt, but changed the rest. The big difference was I added Digit Darkes use with anything anywhere anytime Black Tulle Skirt.

I must be hunthausted because when I made a few attempts at the Pumpkin hunt today I could not find anything. Well, I found lots of pumpkins, but they were all decorative and not Pumpkin hunt pumpkins on sale. Oh, well, it’s not as though I needed anything and if I were smart, I would be reducing my inventory. I just enjoy how creative some of the hunt gifts can be. However, I am disappointed in not getting to air my huntastic low-lag outfit for the hunt.

This morning I put on an charming crimson Spider Dress from Haute Style, the oh-so-beautiful Tuli Elizabeth Gothic Vamp skin and the delicate Eww Spiders collection from EarthStones, wanting to look put together and elegant while hopping the grid.

I got a Black Magic Woman.
I got a Black Magic Woman.
Yes, I got a Black Magic Woman,
She’s got me so blind I can’t see;
But she’s a Black Magic Woman and
she’s trying to make a devil out of me.

This dress is so beautiful it makes me want Halloween to come at least once a month. With a dramatic full ball-gown skirt of spun silk, this is a dress to take your breath away. I found it on the hunt – not as a hunt prize, but an outfit at Pixel & Prim Paradise, one of the hunt stores. Yes, I know I would have been a faster hunter if I didn’t spend time shopping at the stores, but the purpose of the hunt is to introduce us shoppers to a grid wide selection of great shops, so of course I looked and shopped while hunting. Okay, I confess this costume is right at the edge for me. It’s the beautifully made Horror Gore dress by Haunted Zuzu. It’s well named. The dress is viscerally quite horrifyingly bloody. Add the little effect from Little Heaven and the gruesomely lovely skin from MiaSnow and I am thinking I may have quite firmly stepped over the edge.

Okay, they are having altogether too much fun at KatatOnik this Halloween. I mean, look! Look! Candy Corn! Yes, it’s adorable, darling, cute in all the right ways. And somehow they have me wearing candy corn — which is, I believe, a blob of hard corn syrup with food coloring. Well, even though I would never eat it, it is darling to wear. This was the find on the Ghost Hunt as is this entire outfit – a completely ghost hunt styling.

I have been holding back. I admit it. I wore this dress on Sunday and have not shared it with you all. I was saving it for Halloween night simply because of all the costumes and Halloween gowns and goth designs I have tried out this week, this is my favorite. This morning however, it occurs to me that you might like to check it out before Halloween in case you want to wear it, too. I know I will be wearing it at MDR’s Halloween party tomorrow night because this dress is made for dancing.

Okay, so we’re not searching for the Holy Grail, but looking for ghosts under the bed and behind the curtains and everywhere but up the chimney. Well, maybe up the chimney too. The Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come. This outfit is almost all from the Ghost hunt except the dress – which came from the marvelous freebie outlet at Bastchild and Lapointe…so yes, an entirely free outfit.
