I have been extreme remiss in visiting my friends the Kungles new Sim. I sent a present but between being sick and kids being sick and then being busy blah blah blah blah I never got over there. Which is lame of me, as they are some of my favorite designers in SL.

It all started with a blogpost on Freestyle about a free snowboard! I was bored, had no one to hang out with and though, Hey – I’ll go get that snowboard. That’d be a hoot.
Except I couldn’t FIND it. I round RAY SKIN just fine, and I found a lot of cute freebie clothes (worn) but no snow board. Now, as will happen when there is a post from Freestyle, it was kind a crackalackin busy with freebie hunters and folks checking out a store new to them. So it was lagarrific and hard to get around. Cajsa said she was going to wear blue, so I felt obliged to wear red. I had this snappy little new red dress from Clio’s Pret a Porter so figured I was SET! Of course then, Cajsa got all patriotic and emotional in real life and sat watching all the festivities all over again on TV and didn’t log into our pixel world.

King Henry the 8th took his 5th wife, Catherine Howard, straight from his 4th wife’s wedding party. He called her the ROSE WITHOUT THORNS. Presumably, a slam on his original Tudor Rose – Anne Boleyn – the raven haired beauty he had proclaimed to the world was his own true love.

My friend Delilah Drutmann dropped me a notecard a couple of weeks ago that said SHHH! Surprise party for Jezabel! At the Drunken Drow! Here is the LM!
As they are both my RL friends, and folks I drug into the Metaverse with me, I obviously HAD to attend. But shortly after I got them out of their newbie attire, those two girls ran off into their own SL and I don’t see them all that much. I love it when a designer (especially one I’m not all that familiar with) throws out a new release with ONE color a little cheaper. I think it’s a great alternative to a freebie. We get to check you out and see if we like your work and you still get a payment, albeit token, for your work. I know if I like your work – I won’t hesitate to come back and pick up the color I love.
