What a Gem!
Lelutka has new skin for Vanity Universe Skin Fair. There are two new faces of Lelutka, but for today I want to focus on this little gem. The skin has a lovely dreamy quality to it. It also has a unique tattoo layer addition that is great for those of us in our mid-thirties and up who don’t want to look as though we need to be carded wherever we go – a layer with a few soft, subtle lines under the eyes. I am glad to see some age diversity developing in Second Life® skins.
The body is lusciously shaded with beautiful highlights and a toned, but soft and feminine body. I have to point out the adorable poses, by the way, from a new set for StoRin. Annah Whitfield has been on a semi-sabbatical for a while, but she’s come back with Something Cute – the name of her set – and with a bang.

Baby's Got a New Pair of Shoes
Anyone who follows my plurks for any length of time knows I am a shoe hound. I love shoes and frequently post pics of shoes that melt my butter. Cat from the A-Bomb team recently was inspired by a pic I plurked from Valentino’s 2010 Spring collection to create a wonderful in-world homage and was kind enough to name them the Cajsa boots. Yes, I am doing the happy dance! Baby’s Got a New Pair of Shoes! and they’re named after me!
Not Too Shabby
Hybrid Ansar of Not Too Shabby did not know that I just selected a trove of red and black dresses from Modern Gypsy when she gave me this lovely prefab loft for Christmas. But seriously, if she had been reading my mind, she could not have chosen more perfectly. Small lofts like this often make great photo sets, but this one stands out for it’s brilliance as a piece of art. It made me feel so very high concept that I had to pull out my DARE poses – the most high concept poses in Second Life and get all arty with some of the Robert Longo poses and other poses from seminal photographers.
Candy
When I saw this lovely bright and luscious dress at Ninia, the Big Maybelle song Candy jumped into my head and stayed there. Of course, it was her deep, syrupy voice that makes the song, that signature growl of hers, but for whatever reason, it’s always a joy to get Big Maybelle’s music on your mind.

It’s about time I show you the other dress I used when snapping all the Hair Fair pictures. This again has a simple neckline and does nothing to distract from framing the hair beautifully. From Pixel Dolls, it’s called Cashmere and definitely projects that soft and sensuous fabric.
Thanks, Thalia!
I love Thalia Jie’s sense of style – ever since the first time I met her at last year’s Something Fair/Expo and she said “I love your hair,” and when I looked at her, she was wearing the same hair. The other day I saw her style an dress by Patrizia Blessed on MAD Image that had me scrambling to check out the store. Not only did I find an array of arresting dresses, but that’s also where I found the baby doll in the last post. The store is full of fabulous and original dresses and gowns. I love this gold and black number.
I Was In Error
Well, I was technically in Error when I shot these pictures – in the Error sim, that is. I really wanted to share with you this beautiful sim. Certainly, it’s not conventional beauty rife with flowers and greenery and lush with life, but a desolate beauty that draws you in. I decided to wear the Creamshop Dalmation dress because its colors were so well-matched to the colors of the island.

See what the boys in the backroom will have
And tell them I’m having the same
Go see what the boys in the backroom will have
And give them the poison they name

Celebration
I love Innovations, with a capital or a lower case I. DG Innovations has long been a favorite store since I first discovered it last year looking for a ball gown for Christmas. It’s well named as the fashions range far and wide in inspiration but stay close to home and consistent in quality. I wasn’t looking or needing anything new when I dropped by Innovations yesterday – not at all – but then I saw this and all was lost.
