We talked about several things today, about how she felt, and how expensive it is to have a night nurse and so that’s why she doesn’t have one. I decided that it was high time I too acknowledged how fancy and important I was by getting myself a personal assistant in SL. However, I didn’t want one I would pay a pittance and then would be responsible for answering customer NCs if they came in, and for reminding me to make items for events.

I love this new bodysuit from House of Hucci with its gorgeous dropped sleeves – something you can find at the Call For Couture event that is raising funds for The Samaritans. Although they have been planning this for a long time, the recent spate of suicides has made the event more timely than they could have imagined. Because the SL fashion world is always busy with events and charitable activities, the Jewelry Fair is also busy raising funds for Oxfam International. Doing good by looking good! That’s should be Second Life fashion’s motto.
Pteron has many different places to visit when you go there, but I was captivated by this stairway that would probably give me an anxiety attack in real life. For the shoot, I used Codie’s fabulous windlight settings that are included in many of the alternate viewers. This is Rouge 4 and has such a dramatic feeling that it seemed perfect for that tense balancing act on the stairs and the ominous setting of this fortress.

If you’re looking for a hot, sexy, edgy look, you should head right over to the Violator booth at the Jewelry Fair where Soraya Vaher has conjured up some gorgeous jewelry and accessories for the Fair. For this outfit, I chose the fabulous The Punk, The Ruff and the Beast collection of earrings, neckpiece and bracelet as well as the hat from The Dark Note set.
They are perfect accessories for the gorgeous House of Hucci exclusive for LeLook. The bold red, white and black is dramatic. The lines of sequins remind me of the earring design. It’s a dress that demands jewelry that is out of the ordinary and that’s the only kind of jewelry you can find at Violator.

House of Hucci! I love that store name, bringing to mind Gucci and Hoochie Mama at the same time and boldly declaring that you will definitely find some hoochie at Hucci. Everytime I see the store name I smile at the wit behind the name, wit that I tangle with on plurk from time to time as Eboni Khan of House of Hucci is one of those wonderful people who can discuss politics and disagree without being disagreeable. One of the joys of plurk is lively disagreement that stays friendly. Here, though, she applying her skills to bring us a lovely, flowing summery gown that I thought deserved a fantastical and wildly surreal venue for the shoot.
I went to a list of sites recently sent to me by Hybrid Ansar who we all hope will be back in SL soon. One of the links she sent me was to Antenmaria, an amazingly beautiful fantasy world. There are these long purple strings hanging down that sound like wind chimes and glow is everywhere. I guess I could not resist the purple terrain and knew this was the site for this dress. I love the color gold. However, let’s be honest. Gold is not one color. It’s a spectrum in itself. From the bright and brassy yellow mustard gold to the soft and mellow olives of old gold, there’s a rainbow of shades in those four letters, G-O-L-D. This dress from Baiastice is from the more mellow, old gold range – lustrous, shiny and rich – but soft, subtle and quiet as well. It’s my favorite shade of gold.
