I spent far too much shopping this weekend with so many new releases and events that I decided to take a break and go for a walk at the fabulous Noweeto Grasslands. I thought the lizard tote from Celoe would love to go for a walk with me.

Fifty of Fifty
Eclectic Wingtips of Eclectic Apparel is having a super sale, putting half of her store on sale at half off. Yes, 50% of the items are 50% off. Even better, there are a few 1 linden items such as this gorgeous little number to sweeten the pot. What I like best about Eclectic Apparel is that there are great basics, separates that can be combined and mixed and matched and build and extend your wardrobe. This is a stocker-upper sale.
The World in a Bottle
One of the reasons I love the jewelry at Balderdash so much is that when you zoom in on it, you can find whole new worlds. Take this Bit of Earth Necklace which is lovely and attractive from a distance, but when seen in detail, reveals so much more than you would suppose. Whether you’re zooming in on a pair of earrings and finding some words from a book or tiny shamrocks, the true revelation of Balderdash jewelry is in the fine details. I showed this to a real life friend who was in awe and perhaps, for the first time, really understood the appeal of Second Life fashions. I wore the jewelry with what seems a relatively casual, everyday outfit. Which is what I thought myself, until…

Wandering Wearing e!
posted by Gidge Uriza
I was wandering around the far swath of land which Silo and I live on – the one farthest from the house and most prone to squatters and another annoying types when I decided this cute casual outfit from e! (ecclectic accessories) made a pretty picture against the landscape.
Luckily, I didn’t break any nails or muss my hair cleaning up prim trash or ejecting vagabonds.
Quick Look:Jammies from e! Ecclectic Accessories

I used to collect pajamas like mad. When I went to bed at night, I’d put avatar Gidge into pajamas and send her to bed, just like RL Gidge. I had forgotten how soothing this was to me on some days – I might return to the practice after being reminded by e! how much I like jammies. Continue reading
e! is for EXCITED!
posted by Gidge Uriza
And Excited is what I am to be out of bed. WHERE HAS GIDGE BEEN? Well, she’s on bedrest. So, she can’t be up and about. But she’s had a really good 24 hours so she’s taking the liberty of an hour or two to sit up – and her back in RL is screaming to GET OUT OF BED so that is exactly what I am doing. Continue reading
A-Bomb²
Gidge blogged the Paper Heart dress the other day and yet I could not resist its stripey goodness, so I thought I would see what other configuration I could wear it in and the very first thing I tried is another recent A-Bomb release, the pants from No More Words. Stripey heaven! A belt, some wine and thou and I was ready to go.
Too Sexy For My Skirt
Polina Kaestner has made one of the sexiest, cutest skirts ever!! It is very sheer and your legs will show – and that’s the point! It has a perfectly discreet pair of matching glitch panties and that is enough to keep embarrassment at bay so long as you don’t have a friend like Gidge who actually sent an IM to the entire fashion bloggers group saying she could see my butt and then sent a slurl inviting people to come see my butt. However, I was not embarrassed. The skirt is adorable and a few glimpses thanks to my AO isn’t going to upset me. I should have just changed AO’s, but Gidge was having too much fun. Considering that she was wearing the Lonely Goatherd dress and carrying a goat, I think she really didn’t have a leg to stand on.
It's E! For Excellent
This photo is from one of my favorite places in Portland, the wonderful Chinese Garden in Old Town. It’s only a city block, but it takes you out of the city. It reminds me of a sim in its discrete containment of such rich beauty in the heart of one of Portland’s grittier neighborhoods. For my visit, I wore some fab items from E! – the exclamation point is theirs but they deserve it.
