Hello!

Here are the hairstyles I (me, the picky one!) liked the most at the HF, the ones that made me go “wow!”, the ones that met my crazy taste. And yeah, something else made me go “wow!”, it’s the latest release from LAQ, a beautiful freckly skin that I’m wearing in the following pictures.

Ribbons, Bows and Furbelows, Casual Hair at Hair Fair

What are furbelows anyway? I googled and found out they are pleats or ruffles used to embellish your clothing – so good enough. This is collection of Hair Fair styles that are more casual and incorporate hats, headbands, ribbons, flowers or even butterflies. Any additional adornment or embellishment. There are 29 styles and you can see the full size pictures in this Flickr set.

Hair Fair 2011 Short Hair

I am not sure if you’ve noticed or anything, but Hair Fair 2011 opened at a few minutes after midnight Saturday morning. A quiet, low-key event like Hair Fair might have escaped your attention so I thought I might show you what you might be missing since hardly anyone is talking about it. [Insert disbelieving guffaw here]

I shot pics of several of the short hair styles that you can find at Hair Fair. Unlike previous years, every hair at the fair is set to donate a portion to the charity Wigs For Kids so you don’t need to try to figure out which are the charity items this year. They all are. The shopping this weekend has been absolutely ridiculous in the best possible way. The HAIR FAIR opened, Truth District Opened, the sale days have been awesome plus Disco Deals is still going on.
