This HOT post of mine :D

Heya folks!
Hope you’re doing good. I’m super busy at work and it’s sooo hot here in Southern Italy that i’d just like to fall asleep and wake up in October….. But hey, i don’t think it’s possible, so i’ll sit and wait. And, in the meantime, i’ll show you what i got on my last shopping trips šŸ˜›

!gO! is a new to me store, i discovered it casually andĀ  i immediately fell in love with Gocha Merlin funky creations, like the outfit and the shirt that i’m wearing in the following pictures.

Funky purpleness

During my shopping trip

This lovely cardigan, available in more colours, comes in two versions, sold separately: with long-sleeves (the one i’m wearing) or short sleeves.
Skirt and leggings come together, they’re also available in other colors. The white top/bra, which is tintable, is the latest group gift in the store and i think it goes well with the outfit.
Such a cool outfit!

It's The Week When I Get A Bunch of Group Gifts

It’s a quickie tonight but really how much do you NEED me to type?

Doux Petite Dahl group has sent out a group gift that’s super cute – a retro bikini with cover up, glasses, necklace, shoes and socks (not shown). I always forget I belong to this group but it’s a cute little store and worth a flyby. Continue reading

Ibizarre Love Triangle

Every time I think of you I feel shot right through with a bolt of blue
It’s no problem of mine but it’s a problem I find
Living a life that I can’t leave behind
There’s no sense in telling me
The wisdom of the fool won’t set you free
But thats the way that it goes
and it’s what nobody knows
well everyday my confusion grows Continue reading

Things My Brother Taught Me

mar12_039

All my siblings were married by the time I was four years old and for some of them I was a sort of “practice child” that they spoiled with attention. My elder brother and his wife often had me spend weekends with them where I learned to play horseshoes, shoot pool and throw darts. I also learned how to shoot a rifle, hand load bullets and even aim and fire a cannon. He and his wife taught me ballroom dancing, poker and craps. When I was older, he taught me how to drive his stock car. He took me deer hunting, fishing and taught me to swim. He introduced me to dozens of books and encouraged my love of reading. So much of who I am comes from my siblings, not just him, but all of them. But my other siblings will be around to teach their grandchildren and great-grandchildren and my brother won’t. He died of cancer a year ago last July. Too may children lose the gifts of grandparents and family elders to teach them. The work of the American Cancer Society to find cures for cancers is invaluable. And it’s working, Four times as many people survive cancer as did forty years ago. So, let’s keep supporting this good work with events like Fashion For Life – and if support means wearing a rocking hot outfit like this one, how can you resist?

Ok I Admit It,I'm a Cybertease

posted by Gidge Uriza

What are YOU gonna do about it – anyway?

šŸ™‚

This gorgeous dress is from one of my favorite designers, one on the short list of places I’d always shop no matter what – Indyra Originals. This and many other amazing pieces were shown today at theĀ 2010 THE FUTURE IS NOWĀ show at the Greenies Home.

What is brilliant about cyberfashion vs. RL fashion is that while watching RL experimental fashion design we can all say “That’s cool, too bad no one could actually WEAR it anywhere” and in our little pixel world – we can simply wear it where ever we like.

Such as this piece, which I suspect I might not take off any time soon. I think it should have a weapon. Or Two.

This dress makes such a powerful statement, I feel like I’m about to seduce someone – or kick their ass. Or both. I’m not sure which one would come first.

I Got Your Wasabi Pills Right Here

posted by Gidge Uriza

Stylized and festive hair is what you can find at Wasabi Pills but no matter the fact that I always saw fashionistas sporting fun looks by them, I never got around to checking them out. I was so excited to see them at the hair fair and delighted that they dropped a few samples on me to check out their work.

Totally cheeky fun. Continue reading

Dress Me Up: Cajsa by Candy

So Candy Flanagan suggested pink and more specifically, she wrote, “Try raiding Honey Kitty or Momo for a super girly look, completed by hair from Gritty Kitty and accessories from Violet Voltaire.” I hope I meet her brief with this girly-girl pink outfit pulled together from Momo.
