I spent the afternoon at The Trace Too, using all the seating there for my poses. I hopped on scooter and a bench that were on-site. I went there to make a video blog about a book I had just finished reading.
I’ve seen these jeans in posters around the grid for a while and FINALLY found them for sale… so I jumped on them… and when my friend Buzz saw me in them he said.. “hey, I think I have something almost just like that.” And with that…. you have an inspired blog post….. When I saw the Dart Frog Fairy dress from Simply Fae I was so entranced by the Dart Frog fabric, but really didn’t want to wear it as a fairy. It makes an adorable fairy, but then I might have to steal children and I have my hands full with a cat. It was a simple matter to take off the wings and then by editing specific prims, I ate the leaves that were at the belt. This left me the fabulous fabric that I wanted without the fairy elements. I added this fabulous jacket from Bliss Couture’s new collection of fantastic furs.
Dress is from Peqe for Project Fur Japan raising money for relief efforts.
I went through the desert on a horse with no name. (He was a freebie at the entrance)
It felt good to be out of the rain. (Portland broke its wettest March record.)
There were plants and birds and rocks and things (and things?)
There was sand and hills and rings (rings, really?)
The first thing I met was a fly with a buzz (what was he smoking?)
And the sky with no clouds (what do you expect, it’s the desert)
The heat was hot and the ground was dry (hot heat is hot)
But the air was full of sound (only if you brought your ipod)

Goldenrod.. a lot of people have said.. eek its hard, which lead my dirty mind down the its corrupt path into thinking, well if you’ve ever had secks during sunrise or sunset, goldenrod is a familar thing. uh huh.

I received a promotional copy of this adorable micro-mini from BOOM! this weekend and I loved the little buttons and the adorable belt so much that I had to blog it even though there’s no way I would wear a skirt that short in this life or real life. From the front, you don’t get to appreciate how dangerously short it is – but hey, that’s what tights are for!!
Oh, wearing different skins can get addictive when they look this good. Today I am wearing another of the magnificent PXL Creations skins by Hart Larsson. The only post-processing in this photo is cropping – and yet the skin looks magnificent and the makeup is sultry, sexy and seductive.

Short and Sweet! Not just the dress, the post as well. I am working late in RL and taking a few minutes just to post this outfit and let you judge it for yourselves. I went a little pared down on the accessories because the beaded collar straps eliminate the need and the advisability of a necklace. I went for the taupe shoes because taupe is undervalued when really, it’s a lovely and versatile color that needs more outings. Continue reading
