Any fashionista worth her salt knows the first thing she ever got at a good store. That FIRST thing she picked up, and knew she liked the place. For me, it was these shoes from Artilleri – I got them both with cherries and with the oxidized Warhol Marilyn on them.

I think they rule but tend to forget I have them. When new releases came out a couple of weeks ago I had to go see what was new since I hadn’t been in a long time.

And I got swept up into an Artilleri new release buying frenzy.

These pants make me glad Gidge does her situps every night. PHEW!

And then while I was in my flurry of purchasing I broke down and bought my first SL glasses ever. I couldn’t resist I thought they were a hoot.  They look like FINs on a 50s automobile.

Ok ok ok – I know I’m making sweet love to Artilleri all over the place but it’s just such a fun shop.  I guess I got caught up in the moment…..SUE ME.

This sweet little St Pats number is avail at Simply Brittnee as well as some cute hair (not worn) . If you’ve got a party and are looking for something fun to wear, I liked the festive shamrock pattern on this a lot.

I’m wearing the men’s shirt – so see there is something for boys too.

Possibly my curves are stretching out the texture (insert giggle).

Be sure to pick up the SHAMROCKED skin from Frick, a must wear on St Pat’s!

One Night This Furry Geisha and I Went In Kimonos

One night, alone and kinda bored on the grid, I was accessorizing outfits when I saw my friend Furrball come online. I messaged him and we started chatting and eventually he popped over to my house, to visit while I figured out what went with what.

He was wearing, his normal furry getup, a kimono and carrying a big parasol.

I couldn’t resist, and slipped into my new Kimono from Sweetaholic….which as I’m sure by now you realize is one of my secret passions.  I mean SERIOUSLY I do have enough Kimonos to start a harem of geisha……and a big harem. (I’m mixing cultures- but I dunno what else to call it – a gaggle of geisha?Alliteration is nice). Continue reading →

I love that I can roll over to Frick whenever I’m in the mood for something nutty or different, and pick up one of her fantasy skins – and do so for very few lindens. I had to have this retro pinup skin as it’s called Brigitte – and Gidge’s RL name is the same.

I’m slowly on a quest to acquire things with my name to make an “ALL ABOUT ME” outift. ”

Fricka’s prices are good and her variety is such a treat. I do love all the fun skins. I usually take new player friends over there to pick up “something different” when they have been on the grid a few days. They ALL love it. Continue reading →

Schadenfreude is one of those shops I’ve heard about for quite some time but never managed to remember to check out. It just so happened recently that I wandered into the shop while the owner was there (she was very sweet for one of the undead – or fashionably zombified or whatever she was, she was cute!) and I enjoyed getting to talk to her about her designs. She would totally dress like this.

When Cajsa suggested Play that Funky Music as our theme for the midweek MDR party I knew right away which new dress I was going to wriggle into.  From Kuri Style, I got turned onto this dress when I first saw it on Free*Style and had been waiting for a fun social event to wear it to. And of course any excuse to pull out one of my favorite hairstyles – Edgy Wilds from Diversity Hair.
