There’s a very clever ad campaign to raise money for and global awareness of the AIDS epidemic. It’s called Join Red and is not a charity – but a business model that encourages consumers to purchase from member companies who then contribute to the Global Fund. You can recognize a lot of the Red companies because they have clever variations of words ending in Red – like inspi(red) and wi(red) and so on. I could not help but think of it when I tried on the hot, hot red of the new shoes from Aphrodite Outlander of Aphrodite Creations (AC) which had me searching for an intense enough red to wear with it.
