Look, I still like my Kittycats. I stopped caring a long time ago about their value or rareness of whatever whizbang trait they have. What I have left are special to me, presents from loved ones from the past or present, or from events like the SL bday events or holidays or something. I feel disoriented after being gone for a summer. I poked through my wardrobe and found boxes, unopened, and stared at them. They aren’t news any more, and maybe the designers who made the outfits are long departed. I opened one up and took a chance, a henna tattoo from Huz. Time warp, making me remember that my Second Life is really somewhere that I lived, and that being absent from it means that I’ve stopped living that life for a while. The people you miss, you carry into your first life, but still… Who is still here and who is not? Nobody waits, and this is proper…but it’s sad. Anyway. Time to bust out the Autumn colors and explore this world again!

I was DJing my usual Sunday morning jazz set at The Velvet when Reverie Boucher, a friend of mine, dropped by wearing an outfit that I just loved. I liked it so much I asked her to let me blog her outfit. What’s funny is that Hybie also blogged the outfit on Monday – though in different colors and styled differently. Goes to show that you can wear the same thing and look very different depending on colors and accessories. The sweater and blouse from Tres Blah are a fabulous piece. In Second Life® as well as in our first life, pieces like these are investment pieces as they can be worn with so many things, casual or dresswear, with pants or skirts.

I saw some shoes in an add for… gosh.. I can’t even remember what … but mm mm mm, they were some sexy shoes and from a new to me store, Diktator. I rushed over there and these shoes just called my name, the Dare Horeshoe Sandals. The detail on these shoes is AMAZING.

Just a simple look of the day post. I got a new cute mesh “wild skirt” from songbird and paired it with this sophisticated top from Zaara giving myself a dressy/edgy look. Seriously, this is the cutest outfit EVER. I sludged through the lag at Collabor88 but it was well worth it. So many adorable things there this month. I’m sure you’ll see all these things blogged a million times this month but who cares….I’m cute as shit.
This outfit makes me long for fall. I was just saying this morning over on plurk how I hate that So Cal doesn’t have seasons. I guess I will have to be content with living out my fall fantasies in SL.
I am wearing one of the many options for the new Nico dress from Maitreya. It comes in several colors and prints and has an easy summer style with its loose and breezy shape. It is, however, impossibly short for me. Of course, that makes it so very flexible. I could wear it with leggings as a dress or with pants as a top.
