*I’m Totally Paraphrasing that title…….I read it on SCD or somewhere – I swear I think it was SECRETS………….and it made me laugh………….and evil sort of “Hmmm, I should do that” sort of laugh…………

I wonder then, can I just wear Digit Darkes, PXL and Damelsfly?

The logowear conundrum is one that I tend to avoid because it reeks of poorly made freebies most of the time. But when it’s not – it can be a lot of fun. Of course…….shortly AFTER you pull that thread I’ll have to kick your ass. Nothing personal………but I hate people who do that. 🙂

I’ve been seeing ads for different pieces at REALE come across the feeds for a while, but my machine keeps acting up lately when I try to TP so I’ve been going less far off places. My friend Lyly Straaf died.

She died in RL, so it’s permanent, and not some SL moment that can be corrected.

I can’t share with you about the little hands that will miss her, or the man that grieves. Or about what happened or how very sudden and tragic it is. These are not mine to tell, and I won’t break the rules of the grid and pour out the words that would make her flesh instead of pixel.

But I can share with you that she was funny. And we often had such a silly time in the past, filling up prims decorating a place to Vic’s chagrin. Griefing him with funny objects when he went AFK for too long. Laughing about our frustrations and spending time sometimes just talking about nothing.

We didn’t always get along. We’re girls after all, and cats will fight. Continue reading →

I’m a Kevin Bacon game geek. Yes, I still like to play it. It makes me laugh, because I always have my “ringer” I like to pull out – to wow others with my incredible geek-i-tude. Why, you might ask me, am I sharing this with you – wearing this gorgeous dress by Clio – Pret a Porter?

I guess I just finally decided that I should have some Holiday Spirit and let all of you achieve this same level of dork at parties. Actually, most people are usually fairly stunned when you pull this one off because it’s so obscure.

If you don’t know – the Kevin Bacon Game works like this – all movie stars can be linked to Kevin Bacon in less than 6 degrees of separation.  So you say “Link Madonna to Kevin Bacon” and I say “Oh that’s EASY! Madonna was in Vision Quest with Forest Whitaker who was in The Air I Breathe with KEVIN BACON”. Continue reading →

It’s one last post before I go under the knife tomorrow. That’s right……Gidge is having surgery. I’ve been so sick for several weeks and finally they’ve decided that it’s surgery for me.  Since I’m not one those people who divides their SL and their RL much – I’m Gidge in both worlds…..I thought I’d tell all my favorite fashionistas what has been going on. Since I’m kinda bummed out, I wanted to post something fun, something that truly made me smile when I saw it and this dress definitely qualifies.
