A cold and windy morning had me pulling for sweaters in both lives. I had completely forgotten this great cowlneck from Casa del Shai and had to wear it around on such a blah day.

I don’t know when it happened, but SN@TCH has turned into my go-to JEANS store. I have tons of jeans from there and she just keeps churning out such fun jeans, I can’t stop loving them. It Started with Sysy's Scarf

I gotta admit I’m not a big scarf wearer. I find that they so often floop out unnaturally and just look bizarre – or cut into my hair or some other thing that annoys.

So when I dropped on this lovely scarf from Sysy’s – I was immediately in love with the comfortable way it lays on your shoulders. So – I had to make an outfit around it, now didn’t I?

A crushed velvet jacket from Sn@tch and suede pants also from there seemed the perfect winter accompaniment to this lovely knitted scarf. Ok I might not be too warm……..but I look cute. Continue reading →

HI! Memba Me? Well I’m back, and while trying to figure out WHAT to start with I reached for a review item dropped on my by one of my favorite clothiers Ivey Deschanel – from SN@TCH. I was in a casual mood as I convalesced and the JUST JEALOUS top and capris fit the bill for what I wanted to wear.

Tweed: Fabrics of Fall

I miss Gidge, don’t you? She’s been offline a lot for a very good reason, all her energy going into making a baby so she’s sleeping and napping and sleeping some more. And that’s all good if it means a happy, healthy baby in April. But I still miss her and the blog really misses her posts. She’s so funny and so much fun to pal around with.

And you know she would come up with some clever title to highlight the name of the store for this gorgeous jacket/dress. It’s a lovely tweed with frog toggle closures running up the front. Other great details include the slightly puffed sleeves and cuffs. Though the skirt prim is not open in the front, making it a dress, not a jacket, I decided to squint and think of it as a jacket anyway and wore it with the great tweed pants from Zona Cero.

Between Oubliette & MoonSong

My friend Faery Sola who makes the best damn pants in Second Life opened her own sim named MoonSong this weekend with two stores, her Studio Sidhe (pronouced She if you’re wondering) and FlipSide. I went to the grand opening party which was a lot of fun and want to congratulate her on her beautiful sim. Now, her sim is next to another gorgeous sim, Oubliette, and between those two sims there is this lovely bridge and that’s where I happened to shoot my pictures for this outfit which is a mashup for Muism and Sn@tch. So this is a true tale of my night on FABULOUS FASHION TV the other night. I dressed in SN@TCH from top to bottom, solely because I wanted to say SNATCH on Angie’s show.

Childish I know – but it was giving me the giggles thinking of it. I figured if my shirt, shoes and pants were ALL from SN@TCH I would work it in.  I have the maturity of a ten year old boy – yes I know this. I don’t really know how I got here. I’m not sure how this evening got so out of hand. Maybe it’s just too many nights in a row partying at SEVEN or maybe it’s just that I’m jaded and sardonic and just needed a nice thrill to eeek up my sense of well being.

I certainly didn’t intend to end my evening, awaiting sunrise with a pile of cocaine and a bloodied baseball bat on my desk. Sigh – why do they fight back?  You can’t hurt me with a baseball bat. All you do is leave me a mess to clean up after I’ve disposed of your corpse.
