I love the fabric in the Adima dress from Baiastice. The black on brown print gives the dress a hint of bygone eras juxtaposed with the modern form of the dress with its short skirt of multiple layers of ruffles, netting and poufs.

While visiting LaPerla – old Italy, a beautiful sim that is a tribute to the real-world Tropea in southern Italy, I decided to take a few shots to show you both the place and the lovely items I was wearing.
The cute top is from tulip. and is available at The Fashion Garret. It’s really well done and can be worn with or without the bolero, it’s cool either way.

I purchased it two weeks ago, as it was out for the Fifty Linden Friday, I guess it’s available in store now. It can be personalized using a fantastic hud that allows you to compose your name or whatever you want. Also, it’s scripted to change textures in 4 unique color sets and resize.
There’s also a matching bracelet, that I’m not wearing in the pic, with the same features.
I was wandering through the Lazy Sunday list and stumbled upon this cute cute cute skirt at Berries Inc. and I shouted… ASPARAGUS.  Don’t you love when people shout random things when they are shopping?  Well its not quite so random because I’m working on the 52 Weeks of Color Bloggers Challenge and asparagus was the next color I needed.

First came the shoes.
These adorable wedges shoes from ANEXX immediately caught my attention when I first visited the Shoe Fair. It’s the famous StrapWedgeBootee model in an exclusive and super-cute mix of colors: a percentage of sales will be donated to the Soles4Souls charity.
I decided to create a whole look starting from those shoes and here’s what came out:

It’s not summer in real life yet, but in Second Life it’s always summer (or winter, fall or spring) when you want summer. When I saw these adorable shorts from Zaara I knew I wanted to take a spin out on the Linden Ocean and luckily the new MiaMai top for Culture Shock was a great option to wear with the shorts.
On my second or third day in Second Life, I went to Enkythings and bought this old boat for one linden. It is one of my favorite purchases. I have taken it out and boated around the Linden Ocean since the beginning. My first home was a rental on the Ocean and then I bought 512 at Glookbone in November 2007 and have had land there ever since so I could go boating. There are fancier boats that react to the Linden winds and require you to do more than point, but they’re not for me. I don’t want to have to do much more than point and go there.
