I didn’t really do much for 12th Night other than take down Christmas decorations and roll around the the grid looking for things I didn’t need. One of my favorite new acquisitions are these mesh boots from Lassitude & Ennui that Achariya just showed off in another color here.

After visiting the marvelous Etheria 2 collection honoring the Painted Ladies of the old and wild West, I decided to put on the lovely collaboration between Lark and Dark Mouse and head over to a contemporaneous place such as New Babbage As I wandered the streets of New Babbage, the storefront for Gadget’s Freaks and Oddities caught my eye and I decided to pay the exhibit a visit.

I dressed up for a nice sunny day in this top from u.f.o. and popped over the Baffle beach and was surprised to see that snow had come to Baffle. I would have rushed off to a more comfortable climate for my open-toed Lizettes from Kalnins, but I saw footprints of someone walking barefoot. I had to hang around to see who this intrepid weather warrior was and maybe catch some hot guy running from the sauna to the sea.

Slips seem like relics from the ancient past to me. I can’t remember the last time I wore one or owned one in real life. I might have to actually buy one, because strolling around in this slip dress from THE ICING the past few days has made me totally nostalgic for the more delicate types of lingerie, the opposite of the Fredericks Catalog. When we decided to shoot a group photo for the New Year, the only rule was to wear something black. I had seen this in the Baiastice holiday collection so choosing what to wear took no time at all. I love its form-fitting shapeliness coupled with the sexy, center panel. It’s also a super comfortable dress for New Year’s Eve activities from dancing, partying to the family tradition of making sure the house is spotless for the coming new year. Thankfully there’s no oven in my SL home to clean.

My SL 2011 has been much better than my RL one, maybe it’s normal, maybe it’s not, i don’t want to complain but there is at least one thing i wish never happened during this year that is going to end in a few hours.

It’s evening in this part of the world and I hope your Sunday was (or is going) better than mine ‘cause I had to work, arrrggghhh! I’ve been soooo busy that all I was looking for was a relaxing bath (done!) and some lazy time doing absolutely nothing (done!). At some point I’ve got bored of doing nothing and decided to log on SL, so here I am 😀
I want to show you my look of the last days because I simply love it.
Everything started when I bought the GiO skin from Glam Affair at The Dressing Room: it’s so beautiful that I had to choose carefully the clothes and hair to go with it and I must admit it didn’t take much time because I knew what I wanted and the result was just perfect.
Well, at least it was (is!) to me, according to my taste and the kind of look I had in mind.
You might find it awful.
