Let me make one thing perfectly clear, I am not hating on the Rolling Stones. They rock my world. It’s just a reference to the stones in the necklace and the shoes, plain, highly polished river rock by the look of it. I started this outfit off backwards, starting with the sash from Paper Couture’s Gypsy Moon outfit. However, when a sash is that lovely, sometimes it has to be the inspiration.
I find new-to-me stores all sorts of ways, from FashCon notices, reading about them here on the fashion blogs, or just wandering around a shopping district and discovering their fashionable goodness. But now I have a new way to find out about designers and creators – tips from our blog readership. I got such a tip from regular reader Reverie Boucher who wanted me to check out her favorite store – Black Moon – as she felt it and its designer Vanilla Sola deserved more attention than they receive. Linden Labs has made me very happy recently. They seem to have solved the infamous system skirt issue. Now I have been struggling with the system skirt problem since last November and according to the Linden who dealt with me on this issue time and again, the very first to report any such problem. I don’t know about that, but I sure know I was not the last. There are thousands of skirt glitch sufferers. But back to the happy news that system skirts are working again! Continue reading
I found a fun site last night – and forgive me if everyone in the world already knows about it – it was new to me. It’s part of Koin-Up a social networking site that overall confuses me and leaves me befuddled and unnetworked. However, it more than makes up for that with this resources.
