GLANCE ACCESSORY FAIR 2011!!! <333333

Ooooooookaayy.. *hangs head in shame* I feel horrible.. I was one of the lucky 30 bloggers selected for The Accessory Fair this year..  It is running from Saturday,  June 11th at 1PM SLT to Sunday,  June 26th at midnight (12 AM) SLT… and I am just now getting to blog it.. RL has been very very VERY busy and I just havent had time for SL.. BUT!! I am bring to you now a glance at what there is to offer at the fair for the next week!! 

Before getting to the goods… 1st… A little about the fair.. Accessory Fair 2011 by GIA is a two-week charity event based on the theme “Ancient Egypt”. It features 45+ of SL’s top accessory designers offering over 60 exclusive Relay For Life® of SL creations… 2 full sims… and all is going for a good cause!! Week 26 – Tangerine

Tangerine, she is all they claim
With her eyes of night and lips as bright as flame
Tangerine, when she dances by, senoritas stare and caballeros sigh
And I’ve seen toasts to Tangerine
Raised in every bar across the Argentine
Yes, she has them all on the run, but her heart belongs to just one

Well… the dress isn’t from Macy’s its from .salt and I don’t think i’m fooling anyone… but ya never know… 🙂

A House at EverSea – Accessory Fair

EverSea is a wonderful sim created by Grace Loudon who has built some amazing sims including Steiglitz for Fashion For Life, Rivet Town and of course, EverSea and EverWind. I poked about one of the houses for rent and if I were in the market for an historic home from the pre-industrial era, I would definitely look there. It sure is a fun place to take pictures – such as these shots of some new releases for Accessory Fair and a dress from L’Abel.

Dropped from a boss

Hello, it’s Achariya, emerging from the dust to show off new horns from RUE and a new corset from Nomine.  Lately I’ve been putting together my very first SL photography gallery show (the opening is today at 11AM SLT, eek), and I haven’t really had time to create an outfit all at once.  I like that this outfit grew kind of organically, as if my avatar put on each item after it dropped from something she slew. /Warcraft.  This new Nomine corset looks as if an enslaved elf made it before the evil orc boss swallowed the elf and corset whole. I am extremely happy that Ruina is back in SL and making stuff, and this set of horns I’m wearing is the most low-key out of a bunch of new creations.  Another set of her horns (and another new Nomine corset) is here.  Have wonderful Sundays, everyone!  More photos and the outfit credits behind the cut.

I have this cousin, who throughout the 70s was the sitcom version of a hippie chick. She was Rhoda. Her apartment had beads in the doorway to the kitchen. She burned black candles candles and had small totems in a glass case, from her travels around the world.

A Memorial For Cliff The Plurking Cat

We were treated to a nearly a daily plurk of eawothaoeiwrua iaewjhraoiejhr lialiat iluaieu. A special message from Cliff the Cat, the beloved companion of Cajsa. He was loud, he was moody and possessive of his human.

And sadly he is no longer with us.

Kesseret Steeplechase has donated the land and set up a lovely small memorial area for Cliff the Cat. Please feel free to stop by Amira to say goodbye to Cliff.   Kesseret has set up an object that will collect notecards of well wishes and love to Cajsa.
