Love is in the air this month and this lovely dress from *LpD*s Poetry Collection is the perfect thing for the Month of Love.
I’ve really stepped out of my comfort zone with this dress. Its a really edgy creation and will draw every eye to YOU on the dance floor wherever you go.
More after the cut….

Recognizing the happy coincidence of PXL Creations’ Seven Sins Gacha Skins coming out the same week as the new Buckcherry album Confessions, today I am featuring Gluttony.
I get it started and then I get brokenhearted
Because I can’t get a hold of the beast
It’s like I’m blind, I’m running out of time
Everything I crave is out of reach
Sometimes I will come across an item in a store that is far out of my comfort zone, but still irresistibly appealing for some reason. That happened when I saw this very revealing and outré bodysuit from Diram. However, appealing as it was, I needed to change it up a bit for me to wear it so I added this adorable mesh skirt from Peqe. I loved how its bold prints contrast with the stripes of the body suit and the interplay of its softness with the bodysuit’s harder lines.
My friend has been blathering on in her “I am always right” sort of way that I needed to download Niran’s viewer because it makes Firestorm look like an old bag lady. Only she wasn’t so polite.
I’ve been an old Firestorm girl but since the gridlines and big black box issues, I just stopped taking pics in it mostly because I can’t FIX them. So today, before I logged in to shop, I downloaded Niran’s. The rest, is history. Continue reading
A friend of mine has been gardening, digging deep in the soil, planting trees, flowers, seeding grass and all the other backbreaking work involved in designing and landscaping a sim, but he’s pretty much done now and it’s a beautiful sight to see. I stopped by the other day and fell in love with the intriguing way he created different microclimates all in one sim. I stopped by the patio and took a few pictures, but you should really see it for yourself. I was wearing this gorgeous linen dress with and embroidered panel inset on the torso from La Penderie de Nicole.

What could be more exuberant than the color and play of prints in this fabulously wild dress from Nylon Outfitters.
When I saw this dress from Nylon Outfitters for Collabor88, I decided to wear it for my Mardi Gras set when I DJ’ed at The Velvet. It has that flamboyant exuberance with which the last day before Lent is celebrated in many parts of the world. For someone raised in a religious tradition stripped of anything approaching exuberance, it is a fascinating spectacle. There is an element of the opera bouffe in the decadent and wildly flamboyant celebration of music, life and the sensory pleasures for that last Fat Tuesday before the penitent and solemn Ash Wednesday and the month of sacrifice for Lent. As an outsider to the faith, the rituals are like a play, a passionate, loud and beautiful play of extremes – melodrama in its highest form.
I was musing over my new pet peeve this morning as I lounged around in my comfy jammies.
Rudeness.
There are lots of forms of it on the internets, but this one is getting to me. Someone will blog or post on FLICKR “hey I’m going to be gone” only to be met hither and yon with “no one cares.” Continue reading
On Project Runway this week, Zac Posen explained the need for fashion to succeed commercially, adding that Fashion is not a Fine Art because it must be commercial. Then, I saw this dress from Shiki working in collaboration with the artist Vinn Wong and I have to ask, how is this not Fine Art?

I had just wrapped up my FLF shopping when Sasy insisted I come out and be festive for a while. Her suggestion for festive was to start at Bewbapalooza or however it’s spelled. It’s a sale event (I dunno if discounted) for the wearers of the mesh boobs. It’s also carnival themed and Whimsy played the strong man game and won me a popsicle. YAY POPSICLE.
Anessa Stine joined us and fondled her boobs as we wandered around looking at the items.
It was somewhere about that time, that Sasy said “It’s your REZ DAY!”
OMG. It was my rez day and I didn’t even know it. SL Old Age kicks in.
We popped over to the Men’s Department sale next and while Whimsy oooo’d over kilts (and the lack of underwear beneath I think) I grabbed the free gift from Handverk – a red scale clutch. There is probably some humor in the fact that the gift at the Men’s Department sale is for women. Or, men who carry a red scale murse. Continue reading
