When Lavea Alter to me she was working on some shoes last week and passed me a pair of unfinished ones with zebra skin to take a peek and offer a hem, a haw and an opinion. I respect designers who are open to opinions and critique and so I shared my longing for a nice floral fabric ankle boot and look what happened! Floral brocade yumminess in many colors – and just in time for a mini tribute to the Little Black Dress.
A fun dress in Summer White from Kunglers – Melodie can be worn with three bodice choices. Here you see the striped bottom shirt and the corset over it. You could also wear just the striped batiste or just the corset for three lovely summer looks.
Okay, now that I have spent over 10 minutes cycling through bad title ideas for this post, I hand the job over to you, dear Readers. I am wearing the wonderfully detailed and sexy lingerie from Cicciuzzo Gausman of Riviera Couture. It also comes in Mocha, Black and Blue. Yummy!
I thought about making up a title like I ♥ Italy since the lingerie and the skin I am wearing (PXL Creations) are by Italian designers, but if I had been planning that I would have used the poses by Antosperandeo Allen. Instead I went with the Sex Sells and Sultry poses of Reel Expressions and if you look at the photos you can see they are well-named. Besides, that gorgeous Mirone hair plays a role. So do those luscious earings from Zaara who is from India and though India and Italy both begin with an I, I don’t think that counts.
When I put on this lovely little number from Casa del Shai, the first thing I noticed is that little mole next to the navel on this gorgeous PXL Creations skin. Yummy! It was so yummy I changed the lyrics to the Herman’s Hermits song. Love that tummy!!
I also love how beautifully the Bdreams dress named Puppy (no idea why) works over the Casa del Shai lingerie. And doesn’t that makeup make a lovely, sultry face?
On really hot summer nights, there’s nothing better than a pair of loose cotton gauze palazzo pants so light you can feel the breeze flow through them. I took the pair from a Zenith pantsuit and paired it with the bodice of a Zaara summer dress for a nice cool summer night casual look. Adding the fab leather & lace belt from EarthStones put me in the mood for more EarthStones so I popped over there and picked up the matching shoes.
Every once in a while I come across a store and love so much of it, I have a virtual spending spree. That happened yesterday when I went to Dany French touch peut etre and bought several outfits – that ranged from 1 to 150L in price, so a spree that did not break my bank. Surprisingly, a while later I got an IM from the creator thanking me for shopping and gifting me with this lovely dress. She said nothing about blogging, just a thanks for shopping – but I will mark it as promotional just in case. I had to check it out immediately and just loved it. The store is in 2nd place in the creator levye Shippe’s picks and you should go there even if you’re not in the mood to shop because she has made such a beautiful place. Be sure to explore the grounds – they are lovely.
Gidge blogged the Paper Heart dress the other day and yet I could not resist its stripey goodness, so I thought I would see what other configuration I could wear it in and the very first thing I tried is another recent A-Bomb release, the pants from No More Words. Stripey heaven! A belt, some wine and thou and I was ready to go.
Mr. Gausman of Rivier Couture sent me a little thank you for blogging awhile back. I say Mr. Gausman because he is always so formal and proper when he sends an IM that I feel I must respond in kind. Now, how that formal and proper man comes up with the hot and sexy clothing he makes is a conundrum, but then still waters do run deep, as they say. Thankfully, I do not have to resolve that enigma to enjoy the sizzling hot fashion from his house. This dress is MISTRESS and really, you should think of it as a suite. It comes with a jacket that really transforms its look, the colored shirt lies under lace and can be switched out with other colors or with a sheer black for more intimate settings. Or well, for those who are comfortable showing nipples in public, too.
The halter top has a lace back and lovely lace flourish at the neck. The cuffsare actually from Draconic Kiss but with the belted definition of the torso, the revers a lacet cuffs are just too perfect for words.
Gidge and I were at Donna Flora shopping. Isn’t it cool that we grabbed completely different outfits. She went for the elegant dress with the huge brooch. I went for this summery little number with the bright, happy print.
The new skirt from LeeZu – or actully, pants as she named the Mia Corset Pants, is one hot look that I think would be hard to replicate in real life. Of course, who needs to? It’s a high-waisted skirt with lots of ruffles that is open down the side. I paired it with a LeeZu top – not any of the ones pictures, but a top actually designed to go with some short. The curve of the top is a perfect line with the top of the skirt – so they may not be pictured together, but they coudl be made for each other.
