Don’t you just love those briliant bursts of light peeking through the clouds, setting the world ablaze with light? I do and it’s one of the reason I really like the Barcelona Windlight setting that is one of the built-in settings on the Linden viewer. It’s late in the day, a bit cloudy and then there’s the fire of the late day sun. And nothing lights up a cloudy day like a burst of color – color as vibrant and hot as the brilliant print in Goodbye, Summer, a new release from Gizza.

There’s a lovely variety of braids and pony tails at Hair Fair this year, though it feels like fewer than past years, or perhaps my computer is crashing less while I shoot. I did have to reduce my head size to fit the pony from LaViere, but it’s such a beautiful pony tail it was well worth it. I put the saved shape for that head in the LaViere folder to have it handy in the future. The retro chic Magdalen from Lelutka doubles as an updo when you remove the pony piece. The fabulous adornments in the Exile pieces can be removed, allowing you to wear the hair plain if you like. There were a few hairs I tinted a bit as their red was too bright for me. The other sets are A to Z, but I decided a Z to A might be a good option – just to be fair in case folks get tired before the end of the slide show.

Aliza Karu from AD Creations is participating in the RMK Gothic Bridal Fair with amazing outfits which, obviously, are not ordinary bridal outfits and that’s one of the reasons i like them. The other reason is that Aliza did it again, she surprised me with her never-ending creativity and great skills, so here i am virtually bowing to her. A dark, goth bow, of course š

Nzuri held it’s relaunch party this past weekend and there was a lingerie party held to celebrate. I dithered forever at what to wear, because, while I LOVED everything, my pixel girl is a bit modest when it comes to lingerie and there was SO MUCH super sexy there, I had trouble deciding what to wear.
I settled on a practical bra and panty set with garters called Anya in a gorgeous red texture Ā and nice hand drawn details that make me admire the work that went into it. Perfect for blogging oh say – NEW SKIN.
And with that, let me introduce you to a beautiful new skin from Belleza called Lily. I love Tricky’s work always – and this one is no exception. It comes in 20 different makeups and six skin tones. I’m wearing pale. We blondes bitch and moan a LOT when brows don’t suit us, so girls – RUN DON’T WALK.

I love the bold, color-blocking in Appolonia Criss’s new dress called City Chic. She takes a very mod style and updates it with a blouson top and short, very modern sleeves.
I decided to note the military-inspird sleeves by adding the gauntlets from Nzuri, though most gauntlets don’t have adorable bows at the wrist.
This brilliant and bold color got me looking for a brilliant and bold place to shoot and that led me to the Labyrinth of Absurdity.

Angel from Ladies who Lunch is one of the most fabulous dresses I have ever worn in this Second Life of mine. Itās made of feathers but it might be rather reductive to call it a feather dress, in my humble opinion. Itās a mix of avant-garde, fantasy, romanticism, beauty. It puts a smile on my face, it makes me dream. I really enjoy wearing it. I think the name Angel fits this dress perfectly and not because itās white, donāt you agree, Cajsa? š It comes in various awesome colours and I chose it in white just because I was in a āwhite lookā mood.
I was once asked, if you could pick just one store to shop from for the rest of your Second Life, what store would it be? That’s such a hard question because so many creators bring so much diversity and beauty to my world, I don’t know how you’d ever pick.
I love Sachi Vixen of Adam n Eve, and the way she invents the girl next door to a sexy siren with great quality and style. I love Monica Outlander of Miamai’s ability to fuse a nightmare and a dream and create original concepts that you can wear. I love how Mouse of Dark Mouse makes beautiful, wearable jewelry that isn’t at all “every day” but you can in fact wear it EVERY DAY. I could go on, like how Kess textures are amazing and Gogo makes great eyeshadow and it never stops but……. Continue reading
