Ever since Yves St. Laurent ripped Mondrian’s paint off the canvass and shaped his art onto a woman’s body, colorblock dresses have been a perenniel staple of fashionistas around the world. In this iteration, Dani’s Fashions adds a perfectly matched yellow jacket with lines that align perfectly with the dress. It’s really quite stunning and was a joy to accessorize.

There's no such thing as too many sweaters

Okay, sometimes when I am trying to shove the sweater drawer closed and cursing under my breath as I lean again the dresser, I guess I think there is such a thing as one sweater too many, but other than that – no, it’s impossible to have too may.  Sweaters are transformative. This sweater, from Sysy Chapman, changed my jeans and t-shirt from a simple jeans and tee combo into an Outfit. Now instead of looking like I grabbed the first things that showed in my inventory, it looks like I planned and thought about what I wore. That’s what sweaters do, they keep you warm and make you look planned and put together.

I may be the only person in America who likes Kenley and hopes she does well in Project Runway. When she talks back and they all exclaim about her attitude, I shout at the television and say “What about Santino, what about Jeffrey? Aren’t women allowed to defend their work, too?”  But, I really had to disagree with her argument last week, She said people want a show and classic doesn’t make a show.  Wrong!  That’s simply because she hasn’t seen Gracie Winnfield’s designs. Gracie does classic with an edge.

Pink Is Hot:Life Is Good

It suddenly occurred to me that because the only skins of Hatchy’s I have worn were the Demon and the Neko skin that you might think she doesn’t make everyday skins. I decided I would wear her Mimi skin to show you. There’s a reason I don’t wear Hatchy’s skins very often. She made my shape and it’s somewhat similar to her own. She wears her skins all the time, of course, and so when I put one on, I look very much like her. I don’t want to confuse Gidge: one SL daughter is enough. Right, Gidge? Continue reading
