Mami Jewell produced it in eight luscious colors, including one with an amazing opalescent fabric, but I could not resist the naughty nearly nude color of this one. The system pieces provide slip-free coverage while hinting at all sorts of possibilities.

Gidge and I threw an impromptu just-because party last night. I put together a Rockabilly set and invited folks for a night of fun rockabilly music. I tossed this together using a dress for the top and some capris from artilleri – the home of all things rockabilly.

Monica Outlander of MiaMai knows how to make a sexy gown and she used all her mad skills at once when producing this red hawt number. There’s the low back, the front-crossed halter and the deep keyhole bodice, the skin tight torso and hips and the subtle mermaid flare at the bottom. Any one of the elements add sex appeal and glam to a gown, all of them at once makes that gown smoke. The gown is called Kleo and comes in an flaming hot rainbow of colors. The dress has additional embellishments of diamonds and feathers at the hip and neck, but I left those off because I love how just the form of the dress itself is so very sexy.

When we decided to shoot a group photo for the New Year, the only rule was to wear something black. I had seen this in the Baiastice holiday collection so choosing what to wear took no time at all. I love its form-fitting shapeliness coupled with the sexy, center panel. It’s also a super comfortable dress for New Year’s Eve activities from dancing, partying to the family tradition of making sure the house is spotless for the coming new year. Thankfully there’s no oven in my SL home to clean.

My SL 2011 has been much better than my RL one, maybe it’s normal, maybe it’s not, i don’t want to complain but there is at least one thing i wish never happened during this year that is going to end in a few hours.

Heidi Volare may be familiar to blog readers as the author of The Fashionable Heart, but she graces us today as Guest Stylist. She has an easy, casual style that ranges from jeans and t-shirt to super-sexy club dresses, or as she referred to it, “the hoochie.” I don’t know, myself, I think she looks a bit too elegant for hoochie. She’s the perfect femme fatale.
Everybody knows that femme fatales haunt moody, eccentric and atmospheric nightclubs, so we went to Flashman’s, where Art Deco meets idiosyncrasy and one can imagine a thousand stories. I can imagine the “Lost Generation” idling here while arguing the finer points of a sentence or Weimar Republic spies passing maps or world-class thieves planning their next caper around the hookah.
KymSara Rayna is our guest stylist today. I first met KymSara in-world at Ivalde where she works as a customer service representative and has for a very long time. I have come to appreciate her generosity with praise and comments on Flickr. She dresses with a classic and simple elegance which is epitomized by the outfit she chose for this post.
